Great location, clean & comfortable for our 2 week stay. Unheated pool, but great on hot days. Very nice Mexican flavor in the heart of the Romanica Zone. Many restaurants nearby within walking distances.

Enjoyed the convenient location. Excellent restaurant next door. Room was comfortable with cable TV and internet. Housekeeping were friendly and willing to go above and beyond to make you comfortable. Will definitely stay again.

I selected this hotel for it's location, pricing and reviews from other guest. The welcoming staff, colorful court and pool areas provided a welcoming retreat from the town's many amenities; however, the wonderful restaurants, galleries and night life always at my doorstep. Although the rooms interior are simple and modestly furnished, the care and upkeep of the room made my experience feel more like a guest of a family or friend. I will definitely stay here again!

For a non ocean view place this hotel is as good as it gets for the price. The rooms are very basic but warm and cozy. The courtyard is really what this place is all about. Lots going on with the reading tables, pool and adjacent restaurant. A nice place to relax but keep an eye on the action.

I was happy with this property. It is an older hotel with center courtyard of which the rooms face. A large tree has grown in the corner of the courtyard and provides shade and a backdrop for hanging basket lamps from its limbs, cascading down four floors to the center courtyard. What a magical picture in the early morning! My room was located on the third floor, possibly facing south, with a view of the hillside and roof top and looking down into the center courtyard. The room had Mexican ... Read more

Room was basic but clean and comfortable. Pool was a nice place to relax. The open air fully equipped kitchen for guest use was a bonus. The restaurant right downstairs served breakfast and lunch. It was outstanding!

Hotel Posada de Roger is quaint. And noisy. It is has one of the best breakfast / lunch restaurants attached to it, and the windows to the rooms are louvor windows which do not provide much noise or temperature barrier. The rooms are basic. Clean, comfortable, but absolutely no frills. The pool area is small and is kinda sorta on the roof...but sheltered. What this equates to is during the winter season when the temperature is pleasant, it is great, but during the hot summer there is abs... Read more

Great friendly staff, so are the guests; close to lots of good restaurants, the beach, my favorite set of 200 stairs up from the beach. I've stayed at the Roger from time to time for years in many different rooms. Every year improvements are made, gets better and better.

My wife and I first stayed at the hotel in 1974 then in 1980 and 2016 and 2017. The charm is still there. We could stay at more expensive places but we love the area, the hotel and the entire staff. Always friendly and helpful. Great location. If you want Mexican authenticity this is the place for you. It is in the center of romantic zone and is surrounded by great restaurants, galleries and shopping.

We stayed here one night as we transitioned from Yelapa to our flight home. This hotel is like a small quaint oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle of PV. We arrived early off the Yelapa water taxi and were given a room right away. The front desk was polite and helpful. The room, while on the small side, was perfect for a short stay. It had ample closet space, air conditioning, a TV and an excellent firm king size bed. It has a swimming pool on the second floor where we enjoyed a relaxing... Read more
