We were back at The Inn for the last 2 weeks of January. Overall the resort is in good shape. A few small problems but nothing to worry about. As stated the Staff at the Inn make the place a success. A little concerned about the upcoming renovations with noise etc but change is good. Pool staff always great. Was great to see the regulars that come in January Will be back again next Jan.

After 9 days at Emerald Bay, we moved to the Inn at Mazatlan for a change and getting closer to the downtown area. There was a distinct difference between the properties as the Inn is a much older property, and they are just about to start some major renovations. They do have some newer rooms already available. Location wise, it is great. It took us about 30 minutes to walk to the Malecon and another 20 minutes to walk close to the downtown area. You could do almost all of it on the beach a... Read more

We have stayed at the Inn dozens of times, and it has been a favorite over the years. We have other reviews for the Inn, all very favorable. However, right now the Inn is phasing into demo/construction mode, so you should know what you will be getting into when you stay here. We have always stayed in the Maya or Inca sections of the hotel because we like the older, more Mexican ambiance. The Mayan Tower is slated for complete removal and so it has not been well maintained. The rough edges t... Read more

I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 just because there were a few little glitches with our stay but nothing really big. My sister and I had such a relaxing and wonderful time at the Inn. From our top floor suite (1601), we had such a beautiful view and suite that we were temped to just stay on the terrace our whole vacation. Luckily we did not. We enjoyed the people, the restaurants (as well as a few of the just off the street outside such as "FISH". Great food, friendly service). Since we had... Read more

We stayed at the Inn at Mazatlan for a week. The location and the beach are great. We got a very old and dated room and then we moved to a new and renovated room. There were not enough lounge chairs for all the guests. There is no place to hang wet clothes in the room. There was a problem with the hot water and we were given a room to shower with hot water. The room was clean. There is no safe in the room and we were given a safe in the office. There is free wifi. The timeshare people were very... Read more

We have stayed at different resorts in Mazatlán over the years, but were never quite satisfied enough to consider returning to any of them. The Inn at Mazatlán was our latest try. A major selling point was the location in the Golden Zone, within walking distance to many restaurants, cafes, and shops and a quick pulmonia ride to Plaza Machado. The positive reviews from fellow travelers sealed the deal. We found The Inn to be an exceptionally friendly and comfortable place. Our room in the tow... Read more
