La Mision Hotel was an excellent facility that was centrally located near the marina and the city center plaza & restaurants. The staff were very helpful and the hotel was spotless. Highly recommended!

My wife and I knew we would have a good experience at La Mision Loreto based on the reviews we read before booking. What we were not prepared for was the heartfelt connection with the staff of the hotel in their making our 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration so wonderful. Alan and Alfredo at the front desk did everything to make us feel welcome. Alan arranged for the delivery of a beautiful floral piece for my wife. He did this in such a caring manner that was much appreciated. On our anniv... Read more

Our first time in Loreto and at the La Mision. During our travels over the years to Mexico we have always enjoyed good hotels and people. The La Mision hotel and the people that work there tops our stays, by far. The friendly staff desk staff of Alan and Guillermo always greeted us with a smile and "Hola" followed by our name. They were always helpful and willing to go the extra mile. Our room was more than what we expected a great view of the Sea of Cortez and the pool facilities at La Mision. ... Read more

First visit to Loreto-won't be the last!!! Don't think we could have made a better choice than La Mision! Rooms were wonderful, grounds spotless-pool and spa area relaxing and beyond clean! Staff was always there and ready to help- not one even minor complaint! Hotel is located across the street from the water- a beach two blocks down-we walked around town all weekend, tons of restaurants, bars, shops and sites surround the hotel- already have the next trip on the books!

I've stayed here multiple times over the years, and it keeps improving. Rooms are massive, and many have gorgeous views of the Sea of Cortez. Service is generally both gracious and friendly, though sometimes they get a little overwhelmed. Food at the restaurant is solid if not particularly inspired. The pool is great, and there is a 'semi-official' little Starbucks-esque cafe in the lobby/reception for your latte hit. Occasionally the music from the bar near the pool gets a little loud. They're... Read more

I have stayed at La Mision a couple of times. It amazed me coming back the second time that the front desk people remembered who I was. They were so welcoming, and while we were there for our fishing trip the bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed. The outside pool and bar is a great place to unwind. Rooms are spacious, well decorated, extremely clean and maintained. The real difference with this hotel is just how well the staff take care of their guests. There is no w... Read more

We had a wonderful stay at La Mision in the lovely small town of Loreto. From the front desk, Guillermo, to the restaurant staff- Cristian, Jaime, Nacho and Valeria and housekeeper Marion all were kind, accommodating and helpful. The hotel was immaculate and the location perfect. The food was excellent. My only complaint was that the pool was not heated. We will definitely return again. Thanks to all. Elisa

my wife and i just returned from 6 nights at this great hotel. Couldn't have asked for more, except better weather (we took a side trip to La Paz to beat the rain). The owner, from near Seattle, spent a lot of time and money to make this a great property. Materials and finishes are superb, and he's not done yet. I would suggest some sort of wall hangings to help with the echos off the marble floors. I do have one minor gripe. They offer a shuttle from the airport, but it costs way more than a ... Read more

Absolutely beautiful hotel resort on the malecon in Loreto, centrally located in walking distance to the town square, many restaurants, shopping, etc... This is a beautiful property with a view over the Sea of Cortez, with excellent service and friendly guest relations, and it is extremely comfortable. We only stayed for one night on our journey south to Todos Santos, but this was the absolute highlight of our nights in the Baja (and of our nights in the US!), and we will be back again. Bonus:... The rooms are pristine and spacious. The decor is Spanish and carefully selected. The pool is beautiful and the view of Loreto Bay is very good. The staff is friendly and goes out of the way to be helpful. Nora at the spa has magic fingers. Try a massage, and don't forget to tip like you would in the States! The drinks are very good and the food is also quite good. We stayed in Loreto for a while and sometimes just wanted to eat something that was a little more like home. The restaurant did not...
