My wife & I stayed here for 4 nights & thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a balcony room which was spacious & filled with light. The rooms are each decorated with works from local artists which add to the richness of the stay. The rooms are not elegant but they are clean, comfortable & everything works. The mattress was very comfortable. It was very hot during our stay so the quiet, efficient AC was much appreciated. There is a rooster in a neighboring property who does what roosters do. We lik... Small quaint hotel just 4 blocks from the Historic Area of Tlaquepaque. A small place of very good comforts and very reasonable rates. Good breakfast included. Air Conditioned and comfortable beds. Good amount of room space and excellent cable TV with many English speaking channels. Staff are very friendly and speak a good portion of English.

It is not fancy, it is not elegant. However, it is quiet and comfortable. The furnishings are simple but perfectly adequate. It is a quiet spot just a few blocks from Independencia, the main shopping avenue. Parking is available. A lovely courtyard was perfect for reading and relaxing. And the omelette I had for breakfast was beyond perfect. The owners were never in your face but always available and considerate.

We stayed at the Casa Tiaquepague Hotel for 5 nights. It was a great little place to rest after a long day of siteseeing. Our room was very clean, and the decorations were truly Mexico. Very tastefully decorated. The breakfast was the best. Every morning we had fresh fruit arranged on a plate as if they painted a picture. It was yummy. A couple of mornings we had home made yogurt, it was yummy. We had fresh squeezed orange juice or tangerine juice every morning. Pancakes and Bacon one m... Read more

This small, 15-room, family-owned and operated hotel in Tlaquepaque is more like staying in the city home of three generations. Our room had some amazing art on the walls, evident in other places as well. The courtyard was extremely well appointed and filled with plants of all kinds, tended lovingly by Alejandro who with his wife Lenora, are also the cooks for breakfast. Their son Ricardo welcomed us, helped us with parking and bags and we felt immediately comfortable and welcomed. When you ... Read more

A true oasis in the city. Very comfortable and artistic rooms with and outdoor enclosed patio by a small pool. The owners are very attentive and make you feel like you're right at home, they go above and beyo... Read more

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. It has a very unassuming and I might say rundown appearance from outside but that is not a true reflection of the hotel at all. It is a lovely family run hotel and once inside you will realise that it is a hidden gem. It is not ostentatious in anyway but has many very interesting artefacts and paintings on shore and there is something to look at almost every where you look.l. They speak English too if you are not a Spanish speaker. The garden and outside area is... Read more

The owners of this casa are friendly and very hospitable. Homemade breakfast every morning, a large air conditioned bedroom with sitting room, who could ask for more? The airy courtyard is filled with gorgeous plants and lots of seating areas. Very relaxing and a short walk from the Tlaquepaque Market which is a wonderful shopping experience.

Our recent stay at Casa Tlaquepaque was a memorable experience. The owners and their son (who spoke English quite well)we're wonderful, kind and welcoming. There were gorgeous sitting areas and impressive art works of several genres to admire throughout the hotel. Some of the paintings were done by the owner's brother who is a renowned artist. We were served superb breakfasts included in our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It was also close to the town square and pedestrian shopping a... Read more
