Nice friendly helpful staff at this clean conveniently located hotel. Short walk to Nippori station with access to Trains to Narita airport, underground and overground trains. Bedroom small compared to European standards, but we only used the room to sleep in the comfortable bed. We used the Serio restaurant that served beautifully presented and tasty food at a very reasonable price.

After spending 3 weeks in Japan, I can appreciate the rooms/bed sizes are much smaller than western hotels. But, for the price point I don't believe this hotel was worth it. The bed was the smallest I'd experienced in all of Japan (they're not 'semi' doubles, they're basically singles) and the cleaners were waking us up at 7/8am to clean the room each day. If this had been cheaper then I would have rated higher (you get what you pay for) but in comparison with other Tokyo hotels I can't rate it ... Read more

Great location and relatively cheaper place to base in during visit to Tokyo. Virtually a very short stroll from yanaka gonna area and a casual walk to Ueno park. Good alternative to hussle and bustle of Shinjuku and shibuya.

Its a 3-5 minute walk from Nippori Station. Apart from it's very convenient location, what I love most about this hotel is there are a lot of konbini (convenience stores) near the the area. The nearest is Family Mart which is like, a minute walk from the hotel. If you're into the night life, there are a lot of bars and karaoke places in the area, too. I stayed in their Single Room. Being a solo traveler and having only a medium sized luggage helped made my stay a comfortable one. I won't recom... Read more

We booked this hotel for our last couple of days in Japan. The location was extremely close to Nippori Station which is on the Yamanote Line (great for JR Pass holders) and the Skyliner to Narita Airport. We stayed for 4 nights. There was two of us, but we booked a room with a double bed. The room size in this case was adequate, we were able to lay down two large luggage and still had room to share the small table for dining. The room was a little musky and old with no modern air conditioning. ... Read more

We booked this hotel only because we had no other chance. It Was a surprise! Positives: 1) hotel position, right in front of keisei skyliner train to nativa airport and the area is full of restaurants and pub. 2) staff is nice and Very helpful 3) Breakfast was AMAZING expecially the japanese one! 4) Common areas have been recently restored. Negatives: 1) Room size could be ok but too much furniture make it smaller and difficult to use. 2) room moquette was dusty (we smell it in the air since w... Read more

Location near Nippori station which is on Yamanote line. Convenient for JR Rail Pass holder. I stayed for 5 nights . I asked if I can have triple beds on the last two nights at the rate that I booked . They said I cannot. They should at least upgrade our Economy room to triple room . The last two nights they removed the third bed and we have to use two beds for 3 persons. (last two nights we booked Economy room).

The hotel was excellent value for money, the room size was really large. Staff helpful and proximity to train station made it easy to get around Tokyo, and back to Narita airport. Heaps of eating places around, including excellent noodle place. Would definitely stay again.

The Hotel Lungwood is looking over the Nippori station in Tokyo. This means that getting around to and from the hotel is incredibly easy. I was very happy with the service and the room, it was a little smaller that anticipated (But when are they not?) but the facilities made up for small space. Free Wi-fi and friendly staff. Bags can be held if you need it after check out. Really loved the stay and will deffinately stay there again!
