This place is close to the Rialto Bridge and Plaza San Marcos. The room and bathroom were very clean. Abundant breakfast with a lot of options. The staff is just ok. It has an elevator. Hot water. Comfortable beds.

We arrived by prebooked water taxi which only took 20 minutes from the airport. We were dropped off at the Rialto Carbon stop and it was only a short walk to the hotel from there. The hotel was perfect in everyway and I have been whole heartedly recommending it ever since. We had 2 rooms (124 and 125) which were more than adequate size wise and were decorated in a lovely Venetian style. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the towels were changed daily.Breakfast was a typical continental affair wh... Let us start by the positive: - location is prime, between St Marco and Rialto. - rooms are of adequate size. - no internal noise (see below for outside) - breakfast is rather good and the manager must have a sweet tooth as there are plenty of cakes and different pastries. Now for the less positive: - the hotel has no particular charm and is rather old. Red tapestries on the wall. If you like beige and brown bathroom, perfect for you, but it is rather dark and the lights are limited. - the ... Read more

We stayed for a week and became quite attached to this cosy little hotel. Room was quite small as was the breakfast room but you don't come on a city break to spend lots of time in your room. Breakfast was plentiful - fresh bread rolls, meats, cheese, fruit, yogurt, croissants, pastries etc. Mini bar was well stocked and priced very reasonably. Staff were very helpful, and friendly. We had no problem with leaving the key behind - it meant if we were out and came back separately we knew we would g... Read more

This hotel was everything we needed for a short city break. it was spotlessly clean, not overly tired, quiet, good central location near st.marks square and staff were very helpful with no language barrier. Our room was facing the side street restaurant, it had a small balcony with French doors, I couldn‚??t find a speck of dirt or dust, nor mould in the bathroom. Cleanest bed I‚??ve slept in, and one of the comfiest, room was very quiet, slight noise from restaurant music down below in the lat... Read more

We have just returned from a 2 night visit here, we flew to Budapest 1st for 5 nights and then 2 nights here, the hotel all though clean wasn‚??t that great. Breakfast extremely basic - no toast, eggs etc but if you like bread and cheese spread you will be ok. Also was extremely noisy but think that that is just Venice as extremely close to other buildings. Poor WiFi service and no tea/coffee facilities in the room. On checkout was told about Venetian tax - was never told on arrival at the hote... Read more

A short walk from Rialto Bridge water taxi stop -easy to find. Friendly staff. Quaint traditional hotel. A great location and price. Rooms are clean but small. The breakfast room was very busy. Lots to do straight from the door!

Stayed here for 3 nights in August. We had 2 rooms (party of 4). They gave us rooms beside each other. Rooms were clean and comfortable but small as per our Canadian/American Standards. The location is excellent as it is about a 10 min walk to Rialto Bridge and St Mark's Square. Using the Alilaguna Line - we were able to get off at the Rialto Bridge location B. From here you enter the street (Alley) in front of this stop and walk straight down to the hotel which will be on your left about 7 - 8... Read more

Spent a great 3 days 2 nights in Venice, and booked this hotel for our stay. Very well located a short distance between both the Rialto Bridge and San Marco. The hotel was clean and very comfortable. The staff at the desk very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is continental style with plenty of yoghurts pastries rolls etc and coffee/chocolate on tap. As we had a whole last day in Venice we were able to leave our luggage and enjoy Venice before leaving. The Hotel is down a side street (as most ar... Read more
