Very charming hotel. Staff were attentive and try to please. Well trained in customer service. Great location. 60 second walk to S Marco Square and not far from Rialto Bridge. As it??s in the prime part of the Island if you choose to stay here you may want to walk 5 minutes from hotel to opposite direction to get better prices on basically everything. Very charming lobby.

We stayed at this hotel between 27/01/2017 to 30/01/2017 and loved every minute. Before we traveled I contacted the hotel explaining it was my girlfriends birthday whilst we were there and enquired if a cake and wine could be organised along with the possibility of a canal view room, the hotel staff responded swiftly and accommodated all my requests. The hotel itself is beautifully rustic typical of Venetian hotels. The room we were given was spacious, clean and had three grand windows with ca... Read more

Tucked away and only a 3 minute walk from St Marco sq, we found the hotel a great base for our mini break...slightly tired, yet the room was comfortable the staff very helpful and friendly and the buffet breakfast filling..Venice consists of a maze of alleys filled with surprises on every turn..once you have established your bearings just forget the google map on your phone or leave your map in the room.. just aim for St Marco sq when you head back from your adventures ..easy as that..there is a... The hotel's location is great ! It is close to the main square and all restaurants and shops. However, the service was not so great, when we arrived we received a very bad room, it smelled worse than the canal and it was just aweful. So we requested to switch immediatly to another room, which was not met in a pleasant way by the staff. Finally they gave us another room which was good. Venice over all was not what I expected, in a couple of hours you can see it all. it is a beautiful city but ... Read more

We booked through Thomson, choosing this hotel because it had a landing jetty for private water taxis and was centrally located. Our room was comfortable but the mattress was very firm. There was a room safe; just ask reception for the key. There was a hairdryer in the bathroom. No bath but an excellent shower. Hot drink making facilities are not allowed & the TV is all Italian but we didn't go to watch TV and coffee in the bar is 2.50 euros for a latte. The bar has a happy hour from 6 - 7 pm. W... great bar, very friendly. Had two glasses of wine - totalling 6 euros believe it or not, and a chill. Staff very friendly. Place locals go, very bright but comfortable, near Accademia bridge. Great place to visit when in Venice.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in Dec 2016, it is in an ideal location, staff very friendly and it is a nice hotel. We got the train and visited Verona, would definitely recommend travellers to make a day trip to Verona it is not to be missed and St. Mark's Basilica...words can't even describe how amazing this building is it is a must for every traveller. Enjoy Venice, we used the DK eyewitness top 10 Venice book...also a must for tourist wanting to get the most out of their city break.

The Hotel was in a very Central spot, close to San Marco Sqare and easy walking to Rialto. The room I was given was tiny with single bed. Needs updating. Nice Bar. Walking around in the evening was delightful and the hotel was in a perfect place to do that.

We had a romantic week in Venice to celebrate our 50th birthdays, and booked this Hotel through BA. Its generally very tired, bed was comfortable, bathroom was huge and NO WIFI in rooms.... Our room overlooked a small busy side street with restaurants - was quite noisy but not too bad. Location is good, 5 minutes from the Allilaguna water bus in San Marco, most importantly no bridges to lug your case over. We walked to most places from here so is well situated for the sites, water buses and ea... Read more

Stayed in this hotel for 7 nights and loved everything about it! Location is prefect with restaurants on your door step and st marks square is a walk of 2/3 minutes. Breakfast was freshly done every morning with choice. Maids done an excellent job of cleaning and changing the towels everyday. Reception staff were extremely helpful especially 1 Italian gentleman who worked in the nights on the desk. He did tell us his name but we forgot! He recommend a nice Italian restaurant that we went to and ... Read more
