It's a very good hotel. The only problem is the distance to the center of the city. It takes around 40 minutes by bus to get there. For a good price, it would make sense. Otherwise not. The breakfast was very good.

Very quirky hotel, originally a school or college, nicely decorated.Rooms large, huge windows, beds comfy shower small no bath. Situated in a lane, 20 minute walk to bus stop to get into centre of Rome. Buses were awful hardly any seats and packed with people.Stayed here for 2 nights in November breakfast good but were watched over by staff, bar not open in evening you could sit there but had to walk up the corridor to the restaurant to order drinks! Overall nice hotel but too out of the way, Gl... Read more

Only stayed the one night following a cruise, and found it to be a 40 min bus ride to the city centre with the overloaded passengers crammed in like sardines. Would have checked out early if we'd have been due to stay longer. Not really a 4 Star Hotel, although the public areas inside & outside the hotel were all very nice and the continental breakfast acceptable. Our room was small, and appeared to have been furnished using faulty flat pack Ikea furniture with bits missing. The bathroom was tin... Read more

Half an hour bus ride out of town but that's ok.The building is interesting and I liked the style of the place. The rooms are noisy as there is no carpet but the hotel can do nothing about ignorant noisy people who have to shout along the corridor at 7.30 am.Interesting 20 minute Dom Jolly type telephone conversation by someone next door.I was very close to going around and putting the phone where the Sun doesn't shine.By the continuous sliding and scraping of furniture around the floors above I ... Stayed here as part of a package holiday. Location: a bit far from the city centre but accessible via a 24 bus (913). It was a bit difficult finding places where to buy bus tickets on a Sunday though. Decor: very nice. The entrance of the hotel is very quaint. Breakfast: didn't enjoy it. The scrambled eggs wasn't up to par. Cleanliness: wasn't very impressed with the cleanliness of my room. The pillows seemed to smell and the sheets didn't smell freshly washed. I found a dirty q-tip under ... Read more

Stayed there for 3. Nights, after a Med cruise as part of a package deal. Room basic but you only need somewhere to sleep after spending the day discovering Rome, bar seems to open when it likes, closed on 2 of the 3 nights, good pizza deal if you eat before 20:30 then a la carte, they don't start serving food until 21:30 (a bit late for me?) Bathroom small, had to hold shower door closed while wife showered to stop it leaking onto bathroom floor. Bit far out from the centre of Rome but bus stop... Read more

Stayed here 3 nights from 26-29 Sept 2016. From the rude reception staff that seemingly don't speak or understand a word of English, to the awful breakfasts, to the paper thin walls and incredibly noisy staff (and other guests) I can't find one good word to say about this hotel. Patchy slow wifi. The hotel is way out of the centre of Rome (a good 20-25 min ride on local bus, depending on traffic, gets you from near the hotel to near the Vatican) We were promised that 'you'll find that from t... This is a bit of a jekyl and hyde hotel. The outside reception corridors art and decor ,restaurant and staff i would give four stars. What lets it down is the rooms..they are functional and clean..but in mine no mini bar or water or coffee or tea.if you wanted water you needed to use vendinf machine which had no water for two days and sound proofing in rooms non existent. Any noise in corridor felt like in the room. So not sure what ro advise

We had two nights here , prior to a med cruise. We didn't choose the hotel, it was part of a package. I had read the many negative reviews and was slightly apprehensive. But it all worked out great. On arrival we were upgraded, without asking or charge, to 206, which was a junior suite. Very spacious with full bathroom and nice views over the grounds. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was originally built as a college for priests and was converted some years ago. It is very br... Read more
