Let me start with the one thing I booked this hotel for and did not get, air-conditioning. They are equipped but apparently it was turned off right before we arrived because of the time of year. Unfortunately it was still a bit warm. During the day we could just open our window but we couldn't leave the window open at night since we were on the ground level. We traveled with battery operated fans just in case so we were fine. The hotel has a short flight of stairs leading up to the front doo... Read more

Excellent bed, clean, kind staff, near Termini station from where you can go with metro to Colosseo or Piazza del Popolo and with bus 40 to Castel sant Angelo or Vatican. Just get 48 or 72h biglietto. Behind hotel is a excellent and cheap restaurant called Taverna Pretoriana

what do you go to Rome for? Answer- to sightsee. I've read some of the ridiculous negative reviews on here. The hotel is clean, has a 24hr concierge, air con, continental breakfast, etc......but it's 1 minute from the central train station....that means 1 minute from the metro...both lines !! You simply could not get more convenient for the price. It's nice and quiet inside and if you're worried about that scuff on the skirtingboard....then you really don't have enough in life to worry about. Oh... Read more

Could not fault this little hotel - absolutely perfect location to everything - we walked around the whole of rome from here! next to both the train station and the bus station - we got a transfer from the airport which literallty dropped us about 2 minutes away which was great - we had a lovely warm welcome from the man at the reception in glasses, he gave us maps circling main information points for us and all the attractions. he also researched anything we were unsure about and wrote out for ... The hotel was very central, clean but could do with some tlc. Breakfast was fine, hotel concierge very helpful. No central meeting place, such as bar or lounge area. Wifi only in the lobby, however I could get it on my phone on the first floor. Ideal for a short sightseeing visit.

The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was quite simple but did the job. I liked the location - just round the corner from the bus, tram and railway station so really handy if you want to go further afield. It was also within easy walking distance from the city centre. Downside was that there was no bar or meeting point once you left your room.

My girlfriend and I stayed here during a group tour across Europe. Yes, the Wifi only works in the lounge at reception. Yes, the air con only works if you leave a card in the slot. Yes, breakfast is on the 7th floor. And yes, there's only one lift so you're likely to be using the stairs. But the location is ideal and the sheets are clean! The hotel is located right next to Termini station which is the main train station in Rome. There's an Internet cafe on the corner and a dry cleaners on the s... Read more

this was the worst hotel ever. I wouldn`t give 1 star to this. me and my husband stayed in june for 3 night, but I feel so sorry for this. the room was dirty, the entrance room had obvious signs of someone forced to get in, there is NO INTERNET and no telephone signal once you stepped into the room, so we had to stay out on the hall way to get some sort of connexion. the air condition was old as my grandma` so it couldn`t face the heat on that period. the breakfast wasn`t great, didn`t look fres... I went to Rome with a tour group, but had a single room. My room was clean, but the air conditioning was a little weak and would not work without the room key in the slot in the wall. Also, you must have the key for the outlets to work. So if you want any batteries or electronic devices to be charged, it must be done while you're in the room. The only wifi signal is in the lobby so you have to sit downstairs with your laptop, tablet, or phone. Luckily, they had a room full of couches for this e... Read more
