we stayed here after 7 fabulous nights in umbria. room was fine, until 2nd day with no hot water for showers. buffet breakfast was included. beware of the concierge service...we asked for restaurant recommendation.....they arranged for a driver who dropped us off on the wrong side of the river, a mile and a half away, and overcharged us!!!!! restaurant was just okay. when we told the concierge about this the next day...indifferent attitude

A group of us stayed here for business and was amazed at how reasonably priced it was. The smallest room was just 80 Euro per night excluding city tax but including breakfast. The room is small but has all one would need. Small bathroom but well laid out and toiletries provided. Breakfast is a strange affair served in the circus room, which is a lovely bright round room. Food carts are around the edge and has an ok selection of food on the buffet. All in all good experience and terrific value... Read more

Amazing decor and clean rooms. Great location close to subway to get into the centre to main attractions. Food and drinks are five star. Hotel is phenomenal and cannot fault the staff they made the stay even better! We got engaged in the hotel and it was the perfect backdrop!

Stayed here for 6 nights in late October. The hotel is as beautiful in real life as in the pictures. We stayed in a deluxe room with a good continental breakfast included. The drawbacks for me are: The beds are shifting around on the tiles, making a lot of noise. The Wi-Fi in the room wasn't very good. And the hotel is a bit too far away from the city center. (it is easy to get to the metro but it is often very crowded)

The Hotel was nice and I think it comes as close to a 4-star as I have ever seen in Rome. However, the bathroom grout had mold and the smell of mold was very strong when the room was closed up. We had to open the window at night and whenever we were in the room. It is close to the Cornelia metro and an easy walk of about 10-minutes. Shuttle was provided by the hotel for 70 euro one-way from Ciampino Airport.

We were lucky enough to be bought a stay here as a wedding present which was incredibly generous and a fabulous gift as we really enjoyed our stay The hotel is fairly close to the metro system but also has taxis and their own fleet of shuttle minivans available On arrival the restaurant was closed but we were able to get a great burger and cocktails in the bar. There are shops nearby which was handy for extra drinks etc for the room (much needed as it was around 40 degrees when we were there!) ... Read more

We arrived at this beautiful hotel 4 days ago for our 20th anniversary break. It is set in beautiful scenic grounds and a good base to visit the city with a metro within a 10 minute walk. The Vatican City is 4 stops away. Most of the staff are really friendly and polite and the concierge service is beyond reproach. They are a wealth of useful information and very helpful and courteous. All was good until I was knocked down by a motorcyclist and injured. I was rather surprised by their lack... Read more

Firstly I have to say on the deal I got made my trip to this hotel very good value and my comments are meant as constructive. You arrive and the outside of the hotel is stunning this continues in to reception. We had a triple room which lacked care and attention in high level cleaning, decoration and repairs, for a 4 star hotel I would expect a better level of decoration. The walls were scuffed and previous repairs had not been fully completed, this is a general standard around the hotel once ... Read more
