Travelled with Riviera Travel(recommend).Hotel ideally situated for visiting Agrigento & The Valley of the Temples. The latter can actually be seen in part from the hotel. Bedrooms comfortable & clean. Breakfast, plenty of choice but tinned fruit?. Evening meal a bit 'samey' & bland. The desserts were all of the gateaux type and white. The bowl of fruit was empty but filled on asking with thin slices of melon - white again! The pool was beautiful but did not fancy using it as early one morning ... Read more

We stayed at Hotel Kaos as part of a group. The location was very suitable for visiting the sites in Agrigento itself and everything else we required was available within Hotel Grounds. The Swimming Pool was the largest we have come across anywhere, and although it was somewhat colder when we visited, once you got going it was very good. Hotel had large gardens of Orange and Pomegranite Trees which could hve probably done with a bit of watering. Our room was very good, and I suspect it was o... Read more

My room was beautifully furnished and quiet. It had a small balcony that looked out over other parts of the hotel . The food was very good and the service excellent. The enormous grounds were mainly filled with Olive trees and a few other varieties including pomegranites. A very big swimming pool was popular with most of the guests. It is located close to the Valley of the Temples which was a most interesting excursion.

Hotel was used as part of a Riviera tour of Sicily and is used by similar tour operators to the island - consequently there are large parties arriving on an almost continual basis to take advantage of its close proximity to the valley of the temples in nearby Agrigento (about 15 minutes away by coach). The hotel is divided into a "classic" area (the original building) and a modern "contemporary" area where we were allocated a room. The room was modern, tastefully designed and had a fantastic ra... The location of the hotel is isolated (Agregento is nice but doesn't have much nightlife, you can't walk to the beach from the hotel but it is close to the valley of the temples) so the hotel has to make up for this. The hotel is large, modern and well maintained. The bar are is soul less. Our room was large and had a large outside terrace but because of the layout about a third of the rooms don't have a sea view. The tv was small and there was no wifi (which was even patchy in reception). The ... Read more

We stayed here for three nights as part of a Riviera Travel group booking. The double room we had was modern and clean with a patio area. The hotel is isolated but we were busy with trips during the day so that didn't matter for us. The huge plus was the pool area. Very lovely indeed. The downside was the poor food - hardly any vegetarian choices even though we mixed and matched starters for mains. An omelette for dinner wasn't really what I had in mind for good food in Italy. The bar area w... Read more

We stayed here as part of a two centre stay. I had read beforehand that it was a bit isolated and that was tha case however, we had everything we needed. Our room was modern with a comfy bed. The shower room is rather different with wooden latted flooring which wasnâ??t to my taste as it made a noise during the night when you got up. That said it was a nice shower! The pool was just lovely, plenty of sun beds and itâ??s really big! Itâ??s â?¬2 to rent a towel. We didnâ??t think the food was r... Read more

We stayed as part of Riviera tour for three nights, we knew the location was iscolated and can handle such on a tour but normally Food is acceptable if not Good, here it was very poor and repetitive. The Starter buffet was all fresh and fine (and just as well as became the meal) but the same every night, Main course not cooked well, Dessert same three cakes every night and a very large bowl of Melon that must be put away and brought out next day? A lot of food on Starter buffet too??. Breakfast ... Read more

This hotel was part of a two centre tour. The reviews I read before departing left me worrying about where we were going to be staying for 3 nights. I feel the need to "stick up" for this hotel - it was in a pretty location - once you got off the main road - the pool was delightful and in a lovely setting - the staff were friendly and helpful - the food was excellent - not 5* but everything we had was delicious and enjoyable - it's a big hotel which didn't affect the stay in any way - the roo... We stayed here for three nights as part of a group touring Sicily. Our room was on the first floor and was reached by several flights of stairs. The bed was huge and comfortable. We had a small balcony with views of the sea. Free safe. Loads of cupboard space. Nice spacious bathroom with two showers, one overhead and the other on the wall. We had half board, the breakfasts were very good and the dinners were nice. The hotel has a card system which you use to pay for drinks etc and gives a runnin... Read more
