This was the second time at Cinema Hotel, and still it managed to impress me. Clean rooms, friendly, helpful and funny staff, amazing location. Good breakfast variety and nice "happy hour" with free wine.

Hotel is in a great location near Dizengoff. It's a great area to walk around, shop, and eat. The staff was very helpful, particularly Alex. He helped us choose a restaurant and make a reservation, at the last minute, for dinner on New Years Eve. The rooms were a little small, but we had a private balcony and there are nice lounging areas in the hotel. There is a free happy hour on most evenings -- it's held on their beautiful rooftop deck, and there is cava, juices, and snacks. The breakfast is... Read more

Unfortunately I only stayed one night as part of a tour - wish I could have stayed longer. This hotel is in an old Israeli movie house and they have lots of memorabilia around. Rooms are decorated in Art Deco style with old movie pictures and cameras as accents. Amazing selection for breakfast and also a nice "happy hour" with free wine and appetizers. Very centrally located although there was a bit of construction going on in the plaza right outside the hotel so there was a bit of congestion ... Read more

My first time to Tel Aviv and truly didn't know what to expect. More than pleasantly surprised to stay at a hotel that was at the center of everything with a staff that was very eager to help me navigate the city / state. I am already planning a return trip and will be booking a room at the Cinema Hotel.

Overall, this is a very good hotel. It is central and their buffet breakfast was excellent with a variety of cheeses, salads, bread, juices, olives, and sweet cakes. Check-in and check out were both fast. The lobby had a secured entry at night and that night when we checked in, they had a happy hour with free wine and snacks. The room was small and the carpet floor a bit dirty and showing wear but the bed was OK and shower's water pressure was strong. The WIFI though was very slow and painful to... Read more

We like to explore cities by feet - and you can do so here very good. It's close to everything, even to Jaffa we did it our way. The hotel has a good style with all the Cinema attributes from former times, it has rooms which are ok, not big, but ok and it has a very good breakfast with local specials. We loved the happy hour at the rooftop terrace before going to dinner somewhere like the Manta Ray on the Beach. And for a last drink there is a pub very close by. So all in one: very good place in... Read more

Bedroom was small but well appointed. Enjoyed the little balcony overlooking Dizengoff Square. Room rate includes excellent buffet breakfasts in a lovely dining room and happy hour drinks and snacks each evening on the rooftop terrace.

This building started out as the 1st movie theater in Tel Aviv. The hotels decor is film history and technology: carbon-arc projectors, lamps stands made from tripods, bed lamp made in the shape of a fresnel lantern... Enjoyed seeing the photographs of big screen stars and trying to remember their names. The mostly blank and white potos match the hotel decor. The hotel is small and the food was good. Their staff is very helpful and pleasant to encounter.
