We were lucky enough to stay at the King David for 4 nights. It was as close to flawless as I can imagine. It's absolutely beautiful but in no way stuffy or pretentious. It's history is fascinating and they have a channel that tells the story in a way that makes you even more happy to be there. The service is outstanding and every meal was a treat. Breakfast in the large dining room is legendary and doesn't disappoint. Our room was a bit on the old side (even a bit beat up) but was immacul... Read more

We were looked after like royalty .The staff could not do enough to make our stay relaxed and enjoyable. The breakfast is briliant .the variety of food and fruit is just superb. Our bedroom was spacious and the bathroom was massive ,a walk in shower in the bathroom with its own door as was the toilet with its own door. The presentation of food in the terrace Restuarant. Was fantastic and not too expensive. It is quite expensive to stay but the value is there to be seen.

We finally made the trip to Jerusalem and I wanted to be 100% sure we had the very best hotel and The King David was perfect. Everything about the hotel was fantastic. Our room had a view of the Old City and the sunrise was beautiful! The pool area was very relaxing after a day on our feet in the Old City (the pool staff were very helpful). Dinner on the veranda overlooking the walls to the Old City was delicious. All the staff were great from the doormen to the guest services staff - We will be... Read more

This is a wonderful Hotel -- one of the best I've ever enjoyed. The lobby is beautiful and the rooms are spacious and well appointed. The food is excellent -- the breakfast buffet is great and dinner at La Regence is fantastic!

Six night stay and was upgraded to the 6th floor on arrival. A pleasant ten minute walk into the old city. Beautiful room, hot shower, extremely comfortable bed and the room was well stocked with everything. Breakfast is amazing and a wonderful culinary experience in itself. I live in Las Vegas and I know nice hotels, good food, and good customer service and the Kind David in Jerusalem exceeded my previous best hotel experiences. The taxi drivers stationed out front who are working with the hote... Read more

I had always wanted to stay at the King David Hotel, and when we finally did, this past October, it was a cherished experience like no other. The hotel itself is both beautiful and elegant. Our room, overlooking the Old City, was enormous and chic, with a very comfortable bed and a separate sitting area. Dinner at the restaurant was fantastic and lively. The entire property was excellently maintained throughout, and the hotel staff, everywhere we encountered them, were extremely friendly, kn... Read more

I've stayed at this hotel many times and it is always wonderful, but wanted to recount a different story. We were meeting friends here on our way to Tel Aviv, and left our luggage with the doorman for a few hours. When we went to retrieve them, one of our packages was missing.; Interestingly, everyone seemed certain that the package would not have been stolen, but didn't provide any solutions. Finally, a guest service representative (Vega-- much thanks!) intervened, reviewed the security tapes, ... Read more

Weather you were sleeping there or not do not hesitate to spend time drinking coffee with something sweet at this historical site. This place has very long history and still hosts conferences and personals visiting the city.

The King David has the classic feeling that feels right in Jerusalem. We had very large rooms with a beautiful view of the old city which I would definitely say is a worthwhile upgrade. The rooms are a bit dated and it seems like it's time to start renovating but they are still very comfortable. The breakfast is delicious and the Shabbat meals are very nice. The location is exceptional with many areas within walking distance. We really enjoyed sitting in the beautiful lobby having late night des... Read more
