Very nice hotel. Big bathroom and nice big room. The receptionists were always very nice and helpful. A bit of a walk into town but really not too bad unless it's pouring. The beds are a bit hard but decently comfortable. The bar food is super good! I'd stay again (:

Me and my husband stayed here in late december for 2 nights and it was perfect. We had asked for a quite room and we got it there wasnt a noise to be heard late at night. We had breakfast there was a good variety. We had dinner as part of our package and it was fantastic I had the lamb shank it was divine. Hotel decor was worn but none the less it was perfect and on check out the lady said that the hotel was getting a new refurbishment throughout the month a January's we will certainly be going ... They are in the middle of remodeling and I think we may have been the only guests this week. They put us up in an area away from construction, the room was very spacious even with 3 beds. We stayed for 2 nights .. Somehow housekeeping forgot about us, when we contacted the front desk the manager was so sorry and a few minutes later she personally did the housekeeping on our room and then escorted us to the dining room for some special treats. Service above and beyond ..greatly appreciated, and ... Read more

I stayed here for 1 night with my boyfriend. We got a great deal on bookings.com so I was delighted. The hotel is beautiful, but I did think our room could have been a bit better eg. the carpet was ripped. However I did notice paint around the place so I assume it is being redecorated?.Now apart from that it was lovely to stay in.The staff seemed nice also. I would recommend if you need a place to stay in Killarney as it was about 5 mins from the centre.

Booked this night away for a new year break. We were greeted by a friendly receptionist, got to our room which was fine, view was poor, had air vents on a roof which were noisy all night! Was bit disappointed by dinner menu as their wasn't many options, but food was delicious. Breakfast was only served till 10am which I was bit disappointed about as check out was up to 12. On check out the receptionist was very rude!! She was on the phone, never once looked at me after standing there for 5/10min... Read more

Car park was large and parking was easy. Reception was friendly and helpful. Public areas were beautifully laid out with interesting furniture. Our room was large, very comfortable and very tastefully decorated. Bathroom gleamed and shower was powerful. View over mountains was glorious. Overall hotel was everything we could want.

We booked through SuperValu breaks anniversary treat with our 2 kids, we didn't expect top notch but expected better. ?75 b &b and ?5 for 3 year olds breakfast. We checked in at 3.30pm was given family room 225 but I was very unhappy with this room, it smelt musty and had a view of a hedge (had requested a nice view as it was our anniversary!) Went back to reception and receptionist was lovely and said they were fully booked but could offer us room 202 but it needed to be cleaned. I was happ... Read more

my mother had lunch here on the 27th of December and menu was fair very little to choose from. I had the battered fish and chips and same was only fair. My mum had the burger which was quite nice. we had a few chips on our plate also and nothing else. Nobody asked if we needed anything else or if the food was ok. We felt the staff were disinterested. .

We travelled to Killarney for two nights for a family get-together and opted for The Heights as it offered a good-sized room at a great price. We found it to be a very nice experience. It's not luxurious, but it's very comfortable, clean and well-maintained. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, even when we needed to change rooms! The beds are very comfortable, and the breakfast is generous and tasty. It's a little outside the town, which is a drawback, but if it's a nice day you can ... Read more

Stayed just one night, staff very friendly. Food delicious ! Rooms are good also. There is breakfast served every morning, as well as lunch and dinner, the bar is just downstairs, which is great. Overall we were very happy with our visit.
