Stayed one night it's everything you expect from a budget hotel and more. Price was great, room was basic but comfortable and clean. Location right in the centre if Rathmines was excellent can walk into town in 20 mins, room had no outside noise. Staff at reception were very friendly would definitely stay again. Don't have their own parking, most people use nearby Swan Centre which can be a problem if you need to leave very early in the morning.

We stayed here for one night as we were only in Dublin for the weekend. Getting around from the hotel was easy. Temple Bar etc is 30 mins walking distance with some nice places to eat and drink along the way. The taxi from the airport cost around ?25 to this location also. All round very lovely trip and comfortable stay. Will certainly return!

Hotel was very clean and tidy. Had no troubles whatsoever. Bed was comfy and the room was very spacious! Stayed here Monday to Thursday so it was for 3 nights and every night was fine. The wifi in the hotel was one of the quickest I've experienced. Had no trouble with the wifi at all. A short walk in to the city centre as well so was ideal.

The level of service we experienced at Travelodge, Rathmines was among the highest ever and this includes travels to much more expensive hotels in Europe and USA. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon to be welcomed by Joseph at reception who could not have been more welcoming and helpful with lots of useful information including contacting his friend who worked at the restaurant we were eating at the same same night to see if he could get us a 'really good table'. The rest of the staff that we inter... Read more

Oisin the receptionist was exceptional he made our stay so much easier he explained where to go and how to get everywhere and advised the city scape yellow bus which you can buy from the reception for ?10 for 1 day or ?18 for 3 days which takes you round all the tourist attractions of the city. We stayed for 3 nights in this hotel in November. Since the first day we had a lot of problems: 1) wi fi connection didn't work in our room and even if we let the staff know it,the problem wasn't solved at all; 2) the shower was so old that it was impossible to mix the water properly. In fact, the water was always too hot to have a normal shower 3) the structure is old and neglected; 4) the atmosphere of the spaces is austere like the one you would find in a hospital; 5)

Stayed for two nights over a weekend in what must have been an accessible room. Room was basic but had all what one would need for a comfortable stay. Only downside was the shower... the plug hole was clearly blocked and it soon got a bit boring having to shower in your mates shower water puddle! Anyway, not quite the city centre but good for what was required. Wouldn't stay here again.
