Arrived tired, quick check-in but not very inviting, expecting a lovely cuppa upon arrival. Shocked no teamaking facilities... Room very small indeed. Had to squeeze between cupboard and bed to get into bed...sheets and pillows lovely and clean but housekeeping was to a minimum and only came in the once in 4 days... Lovely area and very close to all the city centre attractions NO BAR

Historic hotel in great location only a short walk to o' Connell street and city centre. Disappointed with no onsite parking and it's a headache to find a space close by, there is on street but is busy and only free 7-7nights. No tea/coffee facilities in room. Noisy road facing room. On the plus side it is near to a lot of attractions for tourists but am not convinced it suits the business traveller like me.

The reason this hotel was booked was of car parking when we arrived I asked where the car park was and advised to park on the main street I said no had they a car park or not they said they had a deal with Q park a good walk away. The hotel itself is drap and in need of a good update and carpets cleaned won't b staying there again not wort the 109 euro ( no breakfast )

This hotel is very dated and has no lift so if you are on the top floor it is quite a trek going up the stairs! The rooms are very basic and in bad need of updating. You couldn't swing a cat in the bathroom, very small! The location is near parnell square but a nice walk to O'Connell street. The breakfast was surprisingly good and the staff were very friendly. If you are in Dublin for a night out , the hotel is ok but for a longer stay I would look elsewhere.

Hotel is nice for the price. Convenient location if you like to walk and explore. Shower had great water pressure. No air conditioning, but window provides good ventilation with very little street noise. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Daniel and Felipe. We will be back!

I have been there for two nights and during a business trip. It is an old hotel, with history, specially related with the Rising Easter. Good service, very friendly and always available. I will repeat.

We were looking for a place with my sister very late at night. Finally we found this one. 120 euros for a very bad room. But we thought ok as we couldn't find something else. So i am going to take a shower and no hot water. We are going downstairs talk with the rude male receptionist. He came upstairs to check and said there's nothing he could do. Of course we told him that is insane. So he came up with a great solution. He told us to go to an already used and dirty room to take a shower there!!... Read more

When I am away all I want is some where clean and comfy to wash and sleep. Barry's offered comfy beds in a clean room. The room was a little too hot and no air con but not the end of the world. The d├ęcor is nice but does need attention is areas, nothing would affect your stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location is brilliant.

Not a great hotel at all for the price Tv didn't work either did some of the sockets First night the water in shower was luke warm at best and the following morning it was cold Room was extremely warm but for some this is a positive The positive was the location being a ten minute leisurelywalk from the city centre bars
