Lovely place, good breakfast, rooms are kind of small but very clean and nice. The location is perfect, in 2 minutes walking you're already in the centre. Lots of nice restaurants in the neighbourhood. The service is lovely.

Planned a sat nite to catch up with friends in Dec and this was the perfect find - so central - mins from St Stephens Green to allow wandering in the park and soak up the atmosphere, lovely park (Iveagh Gardens) right behind it which is a quiet little one, madness and fun of Dublin available for those who want to hit the late night clubs on the street. Booked a special meal in the rooftop restaurant, Sophies in the Dean Hotel also on Harcourt St - staff were great and food lovely and only had to... Read more

Started one night end of November. It has a good location being close to the metro and about five minutes to the restaurants. A continental breakfast is provided with friendly staff. What lets this place down is that its dated and needs modernising. There were builders in the hotel so I presume work was being done however I don't know if the whole place is being overhauled. We had a room in the basement which was very hot. It's a good location and does for one night

Perhaps it was because we were around during the holiday period (2-6 Jan 2017), but we did not hear any construction noise whilst we were here. This was, without a doubt, such a lucky find - we loved Albany House! Such a charming hotel in a delightful Georgian building :) We were in a triple room (one double bed + one single bed) on the fourth floor. The room was spotless, the bathroom was also spotless - modern and refurbished with marble (or faux marble?) tiles, a powerful shower with lots of... Read more

We stayed at this hotel for two nights, 30th and 31st December. The staff are attentive and courteous. The hotel looks beautiful and has a Victorian look. The entry, lounge, including the room depicts a Victorian era. We stayed in a room with a queen size bed. It is spacious. To our delight there was a spare bed. We had a view overlooking the back of the building. The toilet is new but the flush to the toilet needed fixing. It was attended to. The hotel is old, requires a renovation. The breakf... Read more

We stayed here for only 1 night. This was probably enough. Staff were nice and helpful but our room was not what we expected. Desperately in need of attention. Breakfast was ok. The hotel is central but I personally wouldn't stay there again. There was some work going on at hotel but I think it needs a more major revamp. See pictures.

For a 2 days business + leisure trip I had to discuss the room noise issue 3 times. While staff are doing their best to give service, failing to disclose that there will be drillings, scaffolding works and construction work from 7.30am to 6pm is far from ideal. It is a nice hotel in a good location but you cannot expect guests to "work their activities around" something like that. Every attempt was made to help by the staff. I was given a small courtyard room but there were renovations and wo... Read more

Simply the best in the area if you are looking for a nice accommodation in the city centre. Albany house is Just few steps from St. Stephen garden, ten minutes walking from Trinity College and it s in a strategic area if you are visiting Dublin for the first time. I checked in yesterday afternoon and our room is really nice, with a big confortable bed, clean fornitures and a view on the main street. The room is really quite even if outside there s traffic all day. Staff at the reception and rest... Read more

Loved the setting, the beautiful high ceilings the new carpets, the friendly staff and most of all the cheeses at breakfast. Easy walk to everywhere including the Guiness Storehouse, once there no need for taxi or bus.

Let's start with the positives. Very helpful friendly staff who let us drop off our luggage and leave at hotel befire check in and after check out so we didn't have to drag it around Dublin. Breakfast was lovely home made breads and jams. Organic milk and some wonderful cheeses. A great cup of coffee and plenty if it. Again cheerful helpful staff. Negatives we had booked this break well in advance for 3 couples for 3 nights so would have expected decent rooms, instead we were sent unto the bowe... Read more
