We booked this hotel direct due to its location next to the 3 arena. Couldn't be easier to get to. The Luas stops right outside. The Arena is 50m away. When we checked in we were told we had a free upgrade to a Junior suite. Fabulous room, very clean. Had a balcony which was great. Only downside was there is building works right outside, I realise this is not the hotels fault but it would have been nice to be informed. Breakfast was good buffet style, all the usual continental selection and full... Read more

My sisters and I went to the Hemi Bar before a gig at the 3arena last night. Couldn't book the bar for food but we got there early and no problem being seated. Service was swift and very friendly. We shared fabulous buffalo wings and martabak crispy pancake. The Singapore noodles were great and my beef rendang was superb! Fresh, delicious Asian fusion food and a lovely pinot grigio recommended by our waitress. We were well fed and relaxed heading across to our show! Would highly recommend, but b... Read more

I visited the hotel on October 16th, 2017. Everyone on the staff was amazing, especially as the hotel accommodated us at the last minute. My original flight was delayed because of hurricane Ophelia. The manager of the hotel was super-nice and made sure everyone was comfortable. They provided us with dinner in the late hours of the night. I am especially grateful to the restaurant staff, including Katie F, Robin, Claire, BCR. Thank you so much!

Stayed there for four nights at the Gibson. Can't comment on the price of rooms as booked through work but have to say I thought the meals were reasonable and very tasty. The hotel room was big and very quiet. Slightly out of Dublin but walked to the tram stop near connelly station near the financial district for a few drinks and it's nice round there. Would stay again if I wasn't on business depending on price. Breakfast was good and lots of options. Overall I was pretty impressed.

Lovely hotel and ideal when attending the 3arena it is literally next door! We had a fabulous balcony in our room and we got engaged after the concert, my partner asked me outside on the balcony and the view made it just perfect! We didn't eat but we went to the bar and that was very nice. Will recommend and will never forget our stay which resulted in our engagement.

Stayed during midterm with our daughter to celebrate her birthday on a dinner b&b package. Lovely spacious room with happy birthday plate of brownies, card & small gift which wowed our daughter. Dinner in bar that night was super. Great breakfast each morning. So well located via luas to city for shopping. Cant wait to stay again. Special thanks to Alison McGinley in reservations who was great help. Thanks Alison & Gibson team

Recently stayed at the lovely Gibson hotel as we were booked for a concert across the street at 3 arena. Hotel is really convenient to everywhere good parking, the staff were really helpful the restaurant very nice but limited menu, but very quick service always really busy. Rooms very well equipped, beds really comfortable, we had breakfast which was really well presented and very good choices. We will be back again next year. Highly recommend this hotel. Sharon ?????

Had dinner before a show in the arena. Limited bar Food menu and appalling service. Really not equip to deal with high volumes. Waited 20 mins for our bottle of wine then having had only a sip we went for a cigarette (as our meal was finished it took so long) only to find the whole table including our almost full bottle of wine was gone when we came back! We won??t be back.

This hotel was lovely, a bit outside the city centre, but the Luas was right at the doorstep, it was handy to travel into city centre. Hotel room was lovely, comfortable bed, we had a meal, not a great selection on menu but was nice what we got, breakfast was a buffet style, v good also, no complaints, maybe a wee bit on the dear side, but overall good :)
