After backpacking and boarding at hostels for a while, I treated myself to two nights here at the end of my trip. Fantastic decision, and quite affordable, relative to the cost of all other hotels available so last minute. Friendly staff, clean rooms, fantastic bathroom and accommodations.

We stayed here in order to run the Dublin marathon on Sunday 29 October. First problem - breakfast is outsourced to a cafe along the road which starts weekend service at 9:00am and we had to be on the start line at 8:30am. Running a marathon on no breakfast is not recommended.... When more runners checked in, the staff did try to come up with other arrangements and they did keep us informed. One suggestion included a cafe nearer the start line but half an hour away. Luckily there is an ... Read more

A group of us came from Dubai to participate in the marathon. This hotel was in a good location for everything we needed. The ladies on the front desk could not have been any friendlier. They answered all our questions and were very helpful. Thank you ladies!

Good: amazingly hospital staff, clean and comfortable rooms, good location Bad: There was a slight hum from fuse box, one day without hot water, the shower temp adjustment (when hot water was available) was faulty allowing for only uncomfortably hot water.

The room was basic, the location was poor - 35 min walk into the main town. The bathroom was dirty and not well maintained. The room was not value for money. I would spend a little extra and book somewhere near to the main town.

Hotel is a little outdated, but clean. Great location! Within walking distance to Temple Bar, Guinness Storehouse, Christ Church, Trinity College-age Book of Kells. Close to tour pickup location and shopping. A must tour is Cliffs of Mohr.

Nice hotel, Small but if you are very busy site seeing then you won't be worried. It's around 20 minute walk from the town centre but there are buses outside and taxis so it's no problem. As they are small they don't have the breakfast in the hotel, it's in cafe moda which is around 15 metres up the road but the breakfast was really nice. Would recommend anyone to stay here as it is decent for the price

Confortable bed. Fairly good position to join the City Centre. Professional personnel. To be improved: Missing shower carpet in the bathroom. No closed cupboard. No safebox. No place to put the open luggage. Just one single chair in a double room without other seats available, apart the bed.

I stayed here for one night before catching the ferry back to the UK. The hotel is just outside of the main town but only about a 20 minute walk to the centre of the city if you wish to explore. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. Staff were pleasant and professional. The biggest bonus with this Travelodge is that they have a secure car park where you can park your vehicle overnight free of charge. It is only about 3 miles from the port and the route to get there is straight forward once y... Read more

Stayed one night it's everything you expect from a budget hotel and more. Price was great, room was basic but comfortable and clean. Location right in the centre if Rathmines was excellent can walk into town in 20 mins, room had no outside noise. Staff at reception were very friendly would definitely stay again. Don't have their own parking, most people use nearby Swan Centre which can be a problem if you need to leave very early in the morning.
