Our room was cold. We had to ask twice at reception to have the heat turned up. Eventually they sent up a blow heater! There was no hot water in the morning for our showers. The bar staff were incredibly rude!

Return visit to this hotel as had to attend hospital next door. Location to hospital is excellent. More information needs to be given on Web site that the car park in underground from the hospital entrance as we ended up back on M50. Its clear once you get into the car park but we had passed the hospital side without knowing it was there. We decided to have lunch before we headed to hospital and unfortunately had to wait over 40 mins for a sandwich which we had to ask for again as we were ne... Read more

Stayed here on the 24th of January and I really like the hotel as a hole, from the check in staff( honourable mention to Ingride on the front desk), which gave us a free upgrade to a queen room, the room was lovely, large bed, tv, rather big bathroom with a really big bath and stand alone shower and an amazing view. The bar was very nice too, bit pricey but I must say Arun makes a pretty nice mojito. We were part of the dine out stay out package( which isn't the first time we've stayed here with ... Read more

Have stayed on all our recent trips to Dublin area over the last eighteen months. From the bar service to room comfort and front of house staff we have always found that this is consistently good and has often exceeded our expectations. Would neither hesitate in returning or recommending.

I stayed in the Beacon hotel for one night before undergoing a procedure in the neighbouring Beacon Hospital. It was my first visit to the hotel and what a positive one it was! Beautifully plush, contemporary yet comfortable surroundings-I would certainly rate the standard of accommodation very highly-and delicious food served in The Crystal Bar which we enjoyed on our first evening. But what impressed me even more was the customer service and in particular the kindness and hospitality of the ni... Read more

Went here for dinner with my parents. Very cool decor around the bar and restaurant. We were swiftly welcomed and shown to our seats by Eanna and the level of service didn't dip throughout the night. He recommended a citrus gin cocktail for me and it was fabulous. I had the hoi sin duck for main course on Eanna's recommendation as well and it didn't disappoint. My parents thoroughly enjoyed their meals as well. We'll be back!

I booked a table in the beacon for 2 in the Beacon for myself and my girlfriend. The food was great and the service from Eanna was brilliant. Afterwards we had drinks at the bar. The bar manager(younger manager) served us along with the other great bartenders. Will definitely be back!

My partner booked The Beacon for us last July as a treat. He got a great deal on a deluxe room. On entering, the staff were very friendly and so warm and welcoming. When I opened the door to our room I was extremely impressed. Everything was above average. The bathroom was very impressive. The tub was very large and deep making for a very relaxing soak! The bed was exceptionally big and ever so comfortable. Last year alone I stayed in over thirty hotels, all of high standard but I must admit th... Read more
