It is a boutique hotel, very charming, much better inside than it looks from the outside! Most staff was attentive and friendly. Rooms are nice. The fridge was empty, which was not the best, but there was a machine in the hallway with water and soft drinks. Then it was removed. Wonder why...There was a coffee/tea machine in the room, but no biscuits or anything else. There was also an iron and board, which was very convenient. The thai restaurant is nice, but after a few days, you would like dif... Read more

I've just spent three nights at the Beacon in Sandyford. I was in Dublin for work and this hotel is perfect if you want to be situated near Sandyford industrial estate, home to Microsoft and other businesses. The room was nice and spacious, lovely big bathroom with tub/shower combo. Perfect for a soak after a long day. One thing I found odd was the lack of power points, nothing near the bed which was a bit of a pain. Also, a few of the TV channels just didn't work. The Thai restaurant served... Read more

We stayed here two nights. Very accessible to get into town with the Luas. We ate in My Thai the first night it was beautiful and staff where lovely. Second night we ate bar food, this was not nice. The rooms are lovely, very cool vibe and a great atmosphere when we arrived Friday evening. Was surprised there was only one plug socket in room.

I stayed here with my friend thinking we‚??d be disappointed booking somewhere which seemed so far out on the map from the city, however we were so wrong the hotel has amazing rooms very clean and staff are lovely the food in Thai is must. It only takes 10-15mins in a taxi to temple bar way and isn‚??t expensive for travel I would defiantly stay here in future and recommend it!

Beautiful room. I really enjoyed my stay, I stayed for one night. The rooms are gorgeous but went for breakfast and it was awful, I definitely wouldn't recommend the breakfast. I got what they call a 'full Irish breakfast' I got 2 rashers and 2 sausages and an orange juice and was charged ‚?¨15 and might I add the food was very poor and the staff down at breakfast weren't much better. I'd revisit the hotel but wouldn't sit in the bar or have breakfast inside the hotel.

Booked a room in this hotel for the night of Monday 16 October 2017 for a business trip to Dublin (from Galway). The purpose of the business trip was to attend a conference in the nearby Clayton hotel in Leopardstown on the morning of 17 October 2017 (the Clayton did not have any availability for the night of the 16 October). Following the issuance of a red alert weather warning late on 15 October by the Irish Meteorological service I contacted the hotel first thing on 16 October to cancel my tr... Read more

I came into the bar of this hotel at lunch time for a drink whulst waiting for my wife who was shopping and was completely blanked by the bar man.I had to ask after 10 minutes waiting for a pint and after waiting a further 15 minutes to receive it I got up and walked out frustrated.I complained to the girl on reception who was very nice but service in this place was very poor indeed and I would not return

I stayed here for one night and found the customer service to be the best I have ever experienced in a hotel. The reception staff were so welcoming and helpful. The staff in the restaurant were amazing, as was the food. The cleaning staff were extremely friendly and finally, the staff serving breakfast went above and beyond for all guests. I was particularly impressed with their care and attention for older guests who were having breakfast.

I‚??ve stayed at this hotel several times now and we always look forward to coming back. It‚??s a really nice place with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. It‚??s also reasonable value too which I guess is down to the fact it‚??s located in South Dublin. The only gripes I have about the place are the lack of plug sockets in the room and the fact that there‚??s none at all by the bed, both already mentioned by others. Also, the bathroom seems to have been designed by someone who‚??s 6 fee... Read more
