Check in wasn't for another 3.5hrs and they gave us the room straight away and reception were very friendly. Very spacious, big bed, nice bathroom, free wifi; and was such a cheap price! Very satisfied, would definitely recommend. Awesome location in the popular bar/pub district near the river.

This hotel is in a great location and the front desk staff is extremely helpful. The rooms are clean, though maybe a bit dated. The shower was nice and strong. The hotel is located in the heart of the action so it can get loud. We had to sleep with the windows open because it got hot at night so we didn't have much of a buffer. Earplugs are a definite must for any light sleepers. All said I would stay again if I return.

Although situated at the west end of the Temple Bar district, the Paramount Hotel is extremely quiet...no noise from the nightlife! It's location is easily within walking distance to many of Dublin's points of interest, such as, Guinness Brewery, Jameson Distillery, O'Connell Street, Grafton Street for shopping, and, as mentioned, the Temple Bar Zone. Also, Tara Station is nearby as well if you care to take a train ride elsewhere. As far as the hotel goes, it is large but does not have the feel ... Read more

Very well located on one end of Temple Bar. There are plenty of inward facing rooms that have zero noise from the streets and being on Temple Bar, there is hardly any noise from car traffic. I worked in Dublin for a year and stayed in this hotel for three nights a week over the last seven months. Before that I had been moving hotels every few weeks and not settled down anywhere. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Paramount again.

Rooms need a bit of updating. Very clean, central location is ace. Lots of reviews complain about the noise, we were enjoying the late bar and club, don't like to party then complain somewhere else. Would book again.

What a wonderful Irish mini break! The hotel staff provided a first class service and helped us with our questions about transport and restaurants. The room was on the highest floor, it was a huge room and was ideal for myself and my friend. We didn't encounter any music or public noise, we had a very noticeable quiet stay. The hotel is perfectly located on the edge of Temple Bar, and walking distance to everything! Perfect! Only downside was the shabbiness of the rooms. A little care and att... Read more

Stayed here again this weekend, great hotel. Room clean and reception staff very helpful. John on reception was an absolute gent, even encouraged us to try for sold out tickets to a show at the Olympia, which we got! Breakfast delicious and plentiful. Bring earplugs if you aren't planning on contributing to the party in Temple Bar. Situated right in the heart of the City. Will definitely stay here again. Gerry

Stayed here for one night on an overnight trip to Dublin. The rooms were a bit tired but very clean. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. Despite other reviews complaining about the noise I had no issues at all.

Was little hard to find the entrance but one inside the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room was very clean and relaxing only thing that let it down was the very old ripped curtain in the bathroom window. Bed as very comfy and slept all night.
