The location of the hotel is excellent. We booked a double bedroom it was on the 4th floor. The room was comfy, antique style and very warm as we had to run the fan (Yes there is a table fan ū???ū???). Overall it was average and we enjoyed our stay. The price was expensive for the room.

Great location for a great price. No frills but perfectly suited our needs. Rooms are a little dark and the ones that overlook the street were a little noisy, but nothing I'm not already used to in NYC. The location cannot be beat with walking distance to most Dublin landmarks. Already booked another trip here this Spring!

We stayed at The Paramount Hotel for 2 nights over New Years Eve. Firstly the hotel is pretty hard to find, Google Maps took us to the back of the hotel where you can see a sign saying "The Paramount" but no door or no sign to say where the entrance is. The street where the entrance is is quite run down, a bit of a messy back alley. We arrived at about 8.30am expecting to leave our bags and check in later but we were offered a room to check in straight away which was great. The receptionist was... Read more

We arrived in Dublin via the airport bus which may I add was well sign posted and easy to find, as for the Paramount hotel I cannot say the same, if it was not for two friendly local people we would probley still be walking up and down the street looking for the place, when we were pointed in the right direction we were a bit put of by the street graffitti on the walls of the building leading to the hotel, which is down a narrow side street at the bottom. The reception was nice and when we got i... Read more

My two daughters and I stayed for three days, I requested a family room with 3 beds and bathroom and was very happy with accommodation. Large airy room with two windows, one of which had access to balcony area. Good big bath and shower. Staff were lovely and we enjoyed Irish breakfasts in a very interesting restaurant area with highly decorated ceiling (in Gaudi style) with huge brass chandelier. HOtel ideally situated for all the main areas of interest, I.e. Book of Kells, Dublin Castle, natur... Read more

We‚??ve just returned from a lovely stay at the Paramount for a long weekend. On arrival at the hotel we were upgraded to a top floor deluxe balcony room as unbeknown to me my girlfriend had emailed the hotel letting them know it was my birthday. So that was really good of them to upgrade us. The room was a good size, with a nice bathroom. The balcony had table and chairs and looked over the river on the left hand side. We had an issue with the safe where we couldn‚??t get it to open, but rece... Read more

Stayed here the other night. We had booked a twin room and although the hotel is dated the only fault is the closeness of the beds as it felt like myself and my work colleague were sharing a double bed. Parking is terrible , Fleet Street car park is a 7min walk from hotel, however in rush hour traffic on a oneway system within the city it took me 1 hour 15mins to drive from hotel to car park (tip : to check in early before 3pm and then park) Otherwise hotel is comfortable and staff are extremely... I stayed here for only a single night to attend an early morning business meeting. The experience was very positive. The staff at check in were extremely friendly and yet professional. The bedroom was spacious, very clean and very comfortable. The best thing about the hotel is its central location and the excellent value for money. It was booked at short notice and the rate for the room was a minimum of about 25% of other options. Will certainly stay here again.

The hotel is above a lively nightclub which went on till after 2am. As a result it can be hard to sleep. We started on floor 2, and were moved to a quieter room (3rd floor and still very noisy). Nice location, could walk to lots of places - the castle was just over the road. The rooms were fine. Bit dark and dingy, especially to hang clothes in the wardrobe. One room was a bit hot, the second was a bit cold! The shower Had good water pressure, but as the room was in the eaves, not quite en... Read more

There was very little I disliked about the Paramount hotel: very large, quiet room, fast wifi, a heated towel rail, a powerful shower and a location nearby the Cathedral that gave me ready access to a vast array of interesting restaurants. The Paramount is not really the deco delight that photos appear to suggest but it is a boutique hotel so a little quirky and my room was lit in a beguilingly atmospheric way. The cooked breakfast was one of the best quality I have had in Dublin tho the cont... Read more
