Much better than my expectations! Arrived at Leeson Inn after an easy 30 minute coach from Dublin Airport (Airlink Express drops you off almost opposite) we were welcome to a very friendly and helpful receptionist who gave us a map of Dublin city and pointed out where to go etc. Most importantly for us (3 20something year old females) the location was ideal- all the main attractions and areas were within a 10-20 minute walking radius- so accessible for everything! The rooms were basic but perf... Read more

First of all get yourself a Dublin pass. Wait till it's on sale on line and pay roughly ‚?¨70 each adult. We booked the leeson inn as it seemed a reasonable price for a 4 night stay. To be honest can't fault the place. Room was comfy. Clean and warm. Lots of little extras including hairdryer, iron , toiletries too. If you come from Dublin airport use the Dublin pass and get on the air coach. Get off at lower leeson street. The coach driver does call out each stop. You will need to be a good wa... Read more

Stayed here for 1 night & had a fantastic sleep, bed was so comfy. Very quiet considering location. Tea & coffee facilities were very basic, tea tasted stale ( not packaged). Staff were very helpful. Would stay again.

I think this place offers good value for very central Dublin. A very confusing and old building but that's all part of the charm. The breakfast is continental but they will do you porridge. Friendly staff, seems popukar with youngish travellers from all over thevworld.

Stayed there this summer. It was an okay place. The location was not too bad. Just down the road from a nice park and some shopping. We booked a room with two beds and ended up having for beds in there. Seem more like a dormitory-style room that we were in. Did not have any air conditioning which would have been nice. Other than that the room was okay. WiFi was spotty. Would probably look for something a little bit more updated the next time. But not a bad place for younger people. It did seem l... Read more

Would not stay again, we paid ‚?¨85 for a room that didn't even come with amenities like soap or shampoo.. the room was dated, paint chipped from walls and when entering hotel there was burnt out bulbs in light fixtures in main reception - a good inch of dust and dead bugs in that main light fixture as well, let alone water damage on the roof .. makes you worry about how clean the rest of it is.. for how much you are charged it is not worth the price. The rooms are made to look nice and they loo... Read more

It costs around ‚?¨30 for a taxi from the airport to this hotel which when you consider it's ‚?¨6 for a bus it's not too bad if there are a few of you. It is roughly a 10 minute walk to Grafton street and you can either walk past the beautiful buildings in the area or take a stroll through the park to get there. My friends and I arrived around 23.00 and had a little wait until a man let us in. When booking through Booking.com it stated pay on arrival, however the transaction had been completed b... Read more

Staff are friendly and the rooms are decent. The hotel seems to be renovating on a phased basis (I saw painters on a couple of occasions) but it will never be more than a 2/3* star hotel, as the level of street noise from surrounding nightclubs can be off putting. Our room was clean but perhaps a little tired, but the wifi worked very well. Breakfast, which is located in the basement, is very basis. Our croissants were heated in a toaster/under a grill, and on the first morning our porridge was... Read more

Lovely hotel on the outskirts on the edge of the center, only problems were that there was no lift for your room on the 6 floors that there is. But lovely view from where we were with only a 5 minute walk into town to Stephens green and Grafton street.

We have just arrived back from a 2 night stay at the Leeson inn. Our flight was very early. We arrived at the hotel at 9am. We were able to leave our bags in the reception area and got a great recommendation for somewhere to go for breakfast. They had our room ready for 1130 which is a lot earlier than usual. The room was large with a good size bathroom. It was clean and comfortable. The hotel is a great location for Dublin city centre. Only a short walk from most attractions and very close to...
