Stayed for only one night but was bowled over by the beauty and history of this hotel. I stayed in room 115 which I found out has a very famous Irish history story behind it. Fantastic hotel with very attentive and friendly staff. Will definitely book this hotel if I ever get the chance to have a family break in Cork

We recently hosted my sisters hen party in the penthouse of the Imperial and I could not recommend it more! Everything from start to finish was carried out with excellent customer service. From booking to checkout, the staff could not have been more helpful, both beforehand with the organisation and answering all my questions, to the staff on hand on the night. We had a private bar set up in the room and the girls behind the bar were absolutely fantastic and such a help throughout the whole eve... Read more

Spent last weekend in this hotel with my friends. From check in to check out our stay was perfect. Check in was smooth and our room was an upgrade which was perfect. Location is brilliant. Walking distance to everything. Breakfast was lovely. Really good set up gluten free options. Had dinner in the restaurant. It was fab. Loved the bar. Decor was cool and again staff were efficient and uber friendly. Every one of us said we would return. The staff are a credit to the owners. One tip: you have t... Read more

We were recommended for lunch in the Imperial Hotel whilst on a weekend away. It certainly did not disappoint! Our bartender Sophie was very helpful and the service was quick and professional. She made us some lovely cocktails. I had the espresso martini and my husband had the whiskey sour. Both of which were delicious! The bar had a wonderful selection of food items on there menu too. Our bartender even gave us some very helpful recommendations for things to do and see around Cork. She certainl... Read more

Excellent hotel with first class service. Front desk really great in helping rearrange our allocated room to suit the particular requirements of my wife who is on a walking stick following a recent injury. Very comfortable well appointed room with excellent bedding and linen.

A group of were in town specially for the Jazz Festival and chose to stay at the Imperial Hotel for 3 nights. The check in was smooth and staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a couple of bars and one especially (left as you walk in the entrance) is really cool, the vibe was great with all the live music etc but I wouldn't know what it would be like outside of the festival period but assumed lively as the hotel seemed quite popular. I was sharing with a friend and the room was ju... Read more

Stayed for one night during business trip. Location is definately good, place was clean and newish. They could however make an effort to inspect rooms before they allocate to guest. My room's shower door had broken hinges they were on the verge of falling. Also annoying buzzing sound from fuse box. At 6am i was woke by some burglar alarm that was making noise until 630. Avoid scrambled eggs for breakfast get poached ones instead.

To the staff at The Imperial Hotel, We just want to say thank you all so much for the care and attention you gave to us, our families, and our guests for our wedding on Saturday October 21st 2017. Every member of staff was so wonderfully helpful, friendly and professional. We received many compliments from our guests about how welcoming and friendly you all were to them. Thank you all most sincerely. I'll have to begin with Louise who we were dealing with initially a year and a half ago. Louise... Read more

We stayed in this hotel for the Jazz weekend and were so impressed with the friendliness of the staff. We had an issue with the room we were in and Amy from reception went out of her way to resolve it. The Jazz weekend is so busy and the staff all worked so hard whilst being extremely friendly. The hotel is in an excellent location and we will definitely be back.
