Plan on spending at least two nights, I spent one which was definitely not enough. The staff make you feel at home and do take time to care for all your needs. Lost to do at the resort thus plan well and make your stay worthwhile being in Paradise

Well maintained, clean and good for a stay of 2 days to relax and get an ayurvedic massage. The sunset ferry ride was nice. Food was good but poor service in the restaurant. Rooms are well furnished with a wading / swimming pool. The open air shower and toilet lacks privacy and is not suitable for everyone. Overall a good place to visit and spend a couple of days. Not a repeat for us. It is a 3 hour drive to Cochin airport.

I love you KLR! My first holiday with my partner and it was the best damn choice I made. My partner was hesitant about doing our first trip in Kerala itself, I said trust me. I will always recommend your resort to anyone going to Kumarakom. A class of its kind! I will visit you again, hands down without any second thoughts at all. Apart from being such a beautiful luxury resort, the resort area itself is attractive and has so many things to do. There are plenty of activities to do around the res... Read more

This hotel is set in beautiful grounds. My husband had booked a room with a pool as we were in the middle of a gruelling journey around Southern India and had a day's grace to relax. When we arrived at the villa I was a tad disappointed that it was really nothing special which given the price I expected it to be lovely. I opened the glass doors to look at the pool which I presumed would be set in a garden and have sunbeds only to discover that it was just a concrete space with no room at all for... Read more

We stayed for a couple of days at Kumarokam Lake Resort. The place was really amazing but we regret windows to be blocked in such a place...we would appreciate to enjoy respiring garden air and not being confined in a wet room (monsoon was just finished...). Moreover, with burning sun, no sun umbrellas available around the swimming pool, even upon request. On the other hand, food (specially at seafood restaurant) was excellent and staff very kind and helpful.

This hotel is really amazing. From the moment you walk through the reception the views across the lake are breathtaking. The staff are very friendly and the rooms authentic and comfortable. Such a beautiful location. Delicious Keralan food too and plenty included in the package - a sunset cruise, afternoon tea, pottery making, traditional basket weaving, and bikes. Kumarakom Lake Resort made for a fantastic end to our very memorable trip of India. Particularly great is Shijo at the pool bar an... Read more

The Lake resort itself is quite a spectacular place with excellent service, but staying on one of their Houseboats overnight in the Kerala backwaters topped pretty much everything we had experienced before. The food and service on board was excellent, and we learned a lot about the surrounding area, e.g. the rice paddies and how people live around here. Can definitely recommend!

Great property, excellent service, fantastic food options! Overall it‚??s a wonderful experience. It‚??s located in a very nice place and takes about 2 hours from the Kochi airport. The resort has a facility of pick up and drop to the airport for a charge. Boat rides are a must to enjoy the back waters. Would recommend this hotel for sure. Be aware that it‚??s a bit expensive.

Idyllic setting on the lake side with immaculate gardens, and stunning traditional buildings. Our meandering pool side room was comfortable, spacious, with good air conditioning, and an amazing 'outdoor' private shower room. The team were SO friendly, incredibly polite and their service was impeccable, particularly Priya (who helped my wife with her saree), Arun-Manoj (who was always highly attentive to our needs at dinner and in the bar) and of course the wonderful KANNAN, who throughout our ...
