Stayed here for just one night whilst passing through Reykjavik recently. The hotel is located slightly out of town, but still within walking distance of the centre. Free parking on the street is available (which is convenient if you've rented a car). They have a happy our in the lobby where you can actually buy a beer at a reasonable price, and plenty of people were making the most of this. The rooms are basic. Sound insulation is poor. Wifi works well, staff were efficient if lacking a bit in ... Read more

No complaints whatsoever. Friendly staff, spacious clean rooms and really comfortable bed! The location is good, takes about 10 mins to get onto the highstreet. Breakfast had plenty of choice and we were also given a bag with sandwiches and drinks in for a early pick up to the airport. The bar has a happy hour each day 5pm-8pm which is handy as drink prices are quite high in Iceland. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Reykjavik

A great hotel to stay at while in Reykjavik. Easily to reach by car and there is free parking. Our room (317) was very spacious and all you need was in the room. The room wasn't really modern but still very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was plenty and varied, a wonderful start to the day. We will certainly come back here when we are in Reykjavik again.

We stayed here for 4 nights during a recent trip to Iceland. The hotel was nice, and adequate. We had 3 rooms between 9 people but were spread out on different floors and at different ends of the building! My room was the one with a spiral staircase which was very nice and spacious for 3 people. In fact all our rooms were spacious and totally fine for what we wanted. The rooms were also hot! We had to turn the radiator off. The bathroom shower did smell, but we were expecting that. The cold tap... Read more

We spent 4 nights here!! Never again the hotel is very basic some rooms have been refurbished but not ours our room was 202 at the front of the hotel on the Main Street we asked for a quiet room when we asked to change the surly young man on reception said nothing else was available!! So we spent 4nights in a small twin bedded room The location of the hotel is good 5 minutes walk to the centre. Now breakfast!!! Cold scrambled eggs and beans small sausage which were also cold so we filled up on ... Read more

I stayed for 4 nights here. For the price range in Reykjavik, this is considered value-for-money. Granted, the sound proofing isn't good and you can easily hear people talking when they walked past the corridors (I therefore fully understand the struggle of those whose room is just right across the lift). Overall, the reception staff are considered friendly, though the breakfast is kind of limited.

Stayed here 4 nights in the middle of January. We had one of the newly renovated rooms and it was very nice. Location is a very short walk to the main strip. Breakfast buffet was decent, only 3 hot items but more than enough to start the day. Staff was very attentive and helpful for when we had questions.

Great location for city centre - short walk to shops and attractions, easy on street parking which was free (amazing in a capital city - very safe and quiet area.) our Room was on the second floor facing the street and above the main entrance - large corner room, lovely comfy beds and me and the other half were more than happy with the two separate duvet covers as I tend to steal the whole thing. Room was warm, well it - there was a kettle and drinks to make but had to plug the kettle in on the... Read more
