We spent a very relaxing week here in a Royal Suite #29. The breakfast buffet could use more choices, but the rest of the dining is excellent. Lunch and dinner daily were very good. Evening entertainment is low key and very enjoyable. Very clean spa. The whole resort is immaculate.

Just returned from a fabulous holiday at Spice Island. It was our second visit to Grenada but our first to this hotel. Our welcome on arrival was almost unbelievable. This is a family owned and managed hotel and the owner Sir Royston Hopkin and his family were there to greet us. What a start and the attention that all of the staff lavished on us during our stay was truly exceptional. We have been fortunate to have travelled widely but we have never experienced service as good as this anywhere. ... Read more

We just returned from 10 days with our 5 year old daughter and loved spice island. Our room opened onto the beach and was spacious with lovely views and really really clean. The staff are all really sweet and could not do more to try and make our stay perfect. The lovely ladies on reception dealt with every request promptly and with a genuine smile ... we are very grateful. The food was excellent but equally the kitchen made us whatever we asked for if we felt like something lighter. The chocola... Read more

We have just returned home after our tenth visit to this paradise in the Caribbean. As the norm it is difficult to find fault with the location, resort and staff. However, the food on the menu in the evenings was not always to our taste,it may be the fact we are getting older and do not appreciate the onion & pepper dressings that appear on the majority of the main courses which alters the fresh flavours of fish and some other dishes. Overall another wonderful stay with Sir Royston's team doin... Read more

This is, by far, the best hotel I have ever been to. This is a boutique hotel and will not have hundreds of rooms, a water park, or the largest swimming pools. However, ALL of the staff will know you, and attend to you by name, politely yet discreetly, and will make sure you are VERY well taken care of every step of your way. Owners and the staff are all very visible, and make themselves very available at all times. Nothing is ever a problem... Atmosphere is relaxed, peaceful, and the ult... Read more

There are not enough superlatives for this hotel. From our arrival when we were welcomed by the management team to our sad farewell we were treated like VIPs. We stayed in two styles of rooms, the Oleander Suite for our first night and then the Almond Pool Suite for the rest of our stay. Both were luxuriously appointed, beautifully clean and well maintained. We would be happy to stay in either again. The fact that the hotel has so many repeat guests can be credited to its wonderful service, exce... Read more

In line with most other reviews, this hotel room is excellent. Cannot identify any elements of our stay to criticise. The hotel is well located on Grand Anse, convenient for St George's and local shopping (can get most items from supermarket/Mall five minutes walk away) with airport ten minutes away. The beach is fantastic for walking, ten minute walk for private buses to St George's. Met by the management team on arrival which was a nice touch and similarily on departure. All aspects of service... Read more

I have now been a guest at this hotel twice. My first visit was outstanding and I came away thinking that it might have been my best hotel experience ever. After my second stay, I can now confirm that it is without exception the best hotel. The staff are outstanding, they remember your name and treat you as if you are their priority at all times. Nothing is too difficult, no request is too much, I know, as some of my party really tested them!! The rooms are spotless and well appointed, the food ... Read more

As a repeat guest of Spice Island Resort I fell in love with this resort all over again. It is nestled in a cosy corner on Grand Anse Beach in Grenada. The villas and both restaurants overlook the beach. You could stare out at the beach from your villa or while dining, relax and sun bathe on the beach or walk the entire beach. Or if you feel like staying indoors you can swim in your private pool in your villa. This Resort has about 62 villas and each villa has its own private pool and private... Read more

Right up there with Four Seasons service-wise. Very high staff to guest ratio; they cater to your every need. Nice facilities, good food, great beach. Solid all around. Very family/kid friendly, so if looking for something more quiet, may want to try Calabash.
