It is a new hotel very modern and with quite good service. The rooms are not the bigger ones but are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is good and also they have a small nice bar. The location is very convenient. It's very close to the center. For sure I go back

I'm not a regular IHG (Holiday Inn) visitor, but needing to book a hotel during the Heimtextil only a few months in advance, this had decent reviews and had rooms available using my few IHG points (Instead of paying the 'show rate' of 350 Euro, more than double a normal rate). .... Great service, Very nice interior, Very comfortable bed, Great location (food, restaurants, snacks, station, etc.) except you might find yourself in Frankfurt's dirty run down red light district. but .... the hotel ... Clean and modern. Very friendly and helpful staff. Spacious room with coffee/tea facilities. Matrasses bit hard, but that depends what you are used to. Good breakfast buffet. Small but fine restaurant menu when you do not want to go out and are happy with schnitzel, hamburger or pizza. Own parking. 15 minutes to central station, or 15 minutes the other way to the city center. I am used to book in more expensive/luxury hotels, but I can certainly recommend this one. I've been there now twice; dec... Read more

I stayed for six days in Holiday Inn Frankfurt - Alter Oper, and my room was very well maintained, very clean from the bedroom to the bathroom, spotless & very neat. The room window had a street view, yet the room was very quiet. Dec 22 Iwan Hohenstaufen the supervisor was generous in his information & gave me above & beyond service, which made my stay very relaxing. Also the staff Flippe in the front desk on Dec 23 gave a good service. The hotel was only less than 10 minutes walk to the central... Read more

Eleven months ago I spent four nights in this hotel and afterwards gave it a 5 star rating and great review. This week I returned with my wife hoping our stay would be up to the same standard, and indeed it was! The staff is exceptional in warmth and helpfulness, far better than in most "chain hotels." Likewise the rooms are larger, cleaner, very modern, and technically state-of-the-art. The breakfast buffet and cocktail bar are on par with any luxury property at half the cost. Put simply, thi... Booked an executive suite...very spacious. The staff was friendly, but had to wait a bit for service at the bar. Great downtown location, with a close walk to nearly everything. Be aware the the Red Light District is out the door to the left, but nothing crazy going on,as I passed need to avoid, unless with family. Parking garage also available. Ordered room service, which offered a limited menu later in the night...delivered quickly and good food.

I thought the standard and friendliness of the staff were excellent, but felt very uneasy about being in the heart of the red light district. Yes I do agree that staff give you directions that take you away from turning left as you come out of the hotel, but you know it's there. Especially in the evening when it brought a lot of shady characters quite close to the hotel entrance. The hotel is in a very quiet part of Frankfurt with many dark quiet streets. That made us take taxis back to the hote... Read more

We stayed for two nights at the end of our vacation. The staff was super friendly and informed us about all the amenities, breakfast, bar, internet, parking etc. The walk to downtown is 5 minutes and the first time we strolled through the red light district without realizing it at first. We didn't see any seedy "characters" around and had to actually laugh when we saw life size Jake and Elwood Blues figures on a couple of balconies!~) We went around the block the other way The next time and fo... Spending a few days in Frankfurt for a tradeshow. This hotel is very well located, approx 20min walk to the Messe. Rooms are clean and modern, gym is small but has new equipment and the staff is friendly.
