the hotel was in a very good location and there was a metro station in 2 minutes walk.. the employees were extremely polite and helpfull.. the room was clean and very comfortable but it look kind of haunted hahaha, I think because we were in the top floor and it was kind of old... here are some photos of the room..

Really liked this hotel. It is located perfectly in the centre. We parked our car under Madelaine just a short walk from the hotel. Very friendly service. The hotel is quite old but therefore has a really nice ambience. If you want top modern standard, this hotel is not for you, but if you are more of a romantic and likes a bit of nostalgia, you will probably like it. Breakfast was not bad at all and was served downstairs in a very cozy environment. Room with 3 beds for â?¬170/day is good value ... Read more

Hotel is not very nice. Its location is great and that is about all! It's not very clean, flooring, walls window treatments are all very old and dirty. Staff not knowlegable about places and events around town. I had reserved and paid ahead for the four nights we were planning to stay there but upon our arrival at 11:30pm (tired and ..) the first thing conversation, front desk says "We don't have your name"!! Very small rooms and no vent in bathroom so after a shower the whole room is steamy... Read more

Hotel staff were very helpful. Everything was clean. Elevator is very small and slow so we used the stairs. Location was great for access to the Metro, shops, and restaurants. There is a small laundry one block away that did our laundry for a reasonable price. A little bit of street noise on weekday mornings but fairly quiet on weekend mornings.

Stayed here a couple of days ago. It was the fourth or fifth stay over the last number of years. It hasn't changed. The rooms are tiny, the furnishings are very tired, stairs carpets are well worn, but the place hasn't changed. The breakfast is served in a subterranean chamber hewn from rock. It's wonderful !!. It is important to keep your booking confirmation so the charges stay the same when checking out. It's a 3 star hotel and I would recommend it on that basis.

Located just off the Place de la Madeleine and in the same road as many other hotels. Impressive looking wood panelled lobby and checked-in relatively quickly. Building is very old (1800s) and a very small lift can take you to your floor else take the stairs. We had two adjacent rooms and the first was a little small, had a smell and only one of the three lights in the bathroom worked. The second was a little larger and most components seemed to function. TV and mini-bar available, which ... Read more

We enjoyed our staying at the Amarante Beau Manoir for three nights. The family room was just perfect and almost everything was in walking distance (if you enjoy walking!). The staff was professional and nice. The only thing that we were disappointed with was, when the hotel's employee in the desk tried to charge us for an extra bed for our son. We had booked for three and when we showed him our booking he admitted that we had payed for the young one and we didn't have to pay any amount extra. B... Read more

The room was adequate but very dark wood panelling, with a small window which overlooked a wall mad the room very dingy - poor lighting also but we didn't spend much time in the room - it was comfortable to sleep in. Easy to walk to places or hop on metro - felt safe in the area compared to some areas in Paris. Didn't have breakfast but plenty of local places to pick up a croissant and coffee!!

Conciergerie not worthy of a parisian hotel I arrive at the hotel reception with a reservation made from the travel agency of my company. I do not speak French and I answer in English to the receptionist. His English is very poor and I do not understand his approach. The room was pre-paied and I'm asked for credit card, because according to him , the agency would not have paied a pre-bank authorisation. I protest and show him a copy of the document (in Italian), where are evident, booking numbe... Read more
