Great little hotel in a great location. Small rooms but clean & comfy. Just off the main tram route through Nice. Close to train station, close to shops, close to the sea front. We would stay here againâ?¦

We had a long weekend in this hotel. It was a very good choice. The location is very good halfway between the Promenade des Anglais and the train station. Both is 10 minutes walk. The price was also very good.

Great personnel, location, and close to many amnesties. The people working at the place are just great. The hotel feels like hotels used to do, and it's clean. I would like to go back just for the interaction with the staff.

Nice clean hotel great location, but maybe needs an up date, We had a problem with a noisy family upstairs allowing their kid to jump at all hours causing the light fittings to shake keeping us awake at night, when we complained we were told to complain to Expedia as that's who we booked through, so not very helpful that way

Hotel Boreal is a quite old hotel in Nice with 3 star rating.and also very strategical location. Because close to shopping ,train station ,promenade and old city The main street is just around the corner and it is just around a 10 minute walk to the station or the promenade from the hotel. The square was delightful, close to promenade with spectacular views, loads of restaurants, cafes, shops, buses and trains. Hotel built by two sides no elevator with big rooms and elevator with small rooms. ... Read more

This is a nice hotel within easy walking distance of the centre of town and the railway station. Staff very helpful and friendly staff speak good English, bar prices very reasonable. They do breakfasts but we eat out plenty nearby. The only problem was our room Nos. 104 right next to the air conditioning units which meant we couldn't leave the windows open for air if this is a problem in October God knows what it would be like in the height of summer.

We stayed here for 4 nights. It is in a perfect location on a little road off of the main shopping street, Jean Medecin. There are modern and upmarket shops in the shopping centre which is a 2 minute stroll away. Go across the Messena Place and you come to the seafront and the old town. The old town is a hive of little streets bustling with bistros and restaurants, little boutique shops and places to just sit and watch the world go by. There is a flower and fruit and veg market here most days ... Read more

A 5 night stay in Nice at a central location. The Boreal was excellent placing just a short walk from the station and from the beach area. Hotel was clean and tidy stage very friendly and helpful. Nice room with good air con, good soundproofing from outside however not as great from noises from within, it didn't spoil our stay. So good was the location would stay again.

I stayed for 4 nights at the Hotel Boreal and was pleased with my stay. The room was clean and comfortable, with excellent air conditioning. The location was tremendous - almost equidistant from the coast and the train station, and a block off the pedestrian shopping street. This made it incredibly easy to get to most things in Nice. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. The only downside of the room was that it was a bit dated, with cracked paint on the walls and ceilings. Still, I... Read more
