Very courteous and efficient staff. Central location. Lots of sound proofing so the rooms are very quiet. They need to keep the corridor fire doors closed though. They are kept open with rubber door wedges which means they won't work in case of a fire.

The staff at this small, 20 room hotel could not have been nicer, esp Bernadette. Reasonable prices and very calm at night. The bed was super comfy and good AC, plus a nice marble bathroom. Since it is on a tiny street, there are no views, but it is Quiet! Lots of closets for those staying a while. Needs new carpets on the stairs only. Most will find that Marseille is a dirty city with tons of grafittii, but stay in the Vieux Port area here and you should be fine. I went for the MuCEM which is ... Read more

This is a nice hotel in a good location near the old port. The rooms are quite small but clean and comfortable and the air conditioning is quiet and easy to control. The double beds are large and provide a good nights sleep. Only a general liquid soap is provided in the bathroom so make sure you take your own toiletries. Despite being on a busy shopping street there was no disturbance from noise. We had the breakfast which was more than adequate. The staff are very welcoming and helpful and spea... Read more

Just stayed one night, pretty average hotel. I had a small room on the third floor, it was clean and tidy, but the hotel needs a refurbish badly The staff were very nice and went out of their way to help. I would recommend it only for short stay and needed to be in the center.

Very basic but totally overpriced . We needed a place to stay in Marseilles for 3 nights during the UEFA 2016 tournament . Sometimes you have little choice for these occasions and you have to pay a premium but at 3 times the normal rate this was overdone . Small room on a busy noisy street during the day but quiet enough at night .

Saint Ferreol poses two challenges. Firstly it is in the middle of a pedestrianised shopping street that taxis are reluctant to go near. Secondly, one is faced with a steep flight of steps to get to reception, though staff are very helpful in getting luggage up. After that there is an elevator. The hotel is very quiet, not only because of the double glazing, but also because once the shops close, the street is deserted. The rooms are rather small - common in old buildings - though well maintai... Read more

This is a very pleasant hotel in the heart of Marseille near to shops and tourist attractions. The staff speak English and are very helpful. The room we had was a little bit small but adequate, clean, well furnished, and the bed was comfortable. The room was triple glazed and was very quiet. We parked overnight in the parking area General de Gaulle which was very good and near to the hotel. Even with a special reduction from the hotel however this parking was quite expensive. The hotel break... Read more

This is a good 3 star hotel. Staff were courteous and friendly. Room good, clean and the most comfy bed ever. Good double glazing so very little noise heard from outside. TV in room and free WiFi. Breakfast available for extra if required; fresh and varied. Only a few minutes walk from the Old Port and Metro. I would definitely stay here again. The hotel is above a shop, and is situated in a shoping area. Access is in the side road and up some stairs. This hotel feels safe and secure.

Location was great, although a little dodgy after dark - met a few unsavoury characters! There was always someone on reception with brilliant English who has sorted out a few problems we had with transfers. Rooms a little small but clean and well decorated. My only complaint was the breakfast which cost almost 10â?¬ I think was not really worth the money. It was mainly bread and cereal and boiled eggs is requested. But the staff and the location etc was great so this didn't really matter!!
