Staff were polite, professional & friendly upon check-in. The cookie was a lovely gesture. Bedroom was modern, had all the facilities expected however the shower had hardly any power. The restaurant for evening meal was tasty but potions on the small side. Breakfast was great. Conference rooms were bright & airy. Would recommend.

Nice hotel, they gave me a cookie when I was checking in which was nice as it was 9pm on a Sunday night and it'd been a long trip. The room was nice with a decent sized bath and the linen and furnishings looked fresh. It's a bit annoying that you have to climb the stairs to the reception and that there's no obvious pavement to the front door (just a bit for pick up and drop off).

I stayed here on business for two nights in January. There was a slight mix up with the booking but after a few phone calls (and a bit of panic from me after travelling for over three hours) the receptionist sorted out a room for me. The room was adequate and very clean. The shower was good but the bath took ages to fill. Nice to have shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and face soap to use. Could have done with some hand soap though. I was booked for dinner and breakfast. The food was very nice, ... Read more

Stayed here 1 night on a recent business trip, my first time at this hotel. I had been very happy at Hilton's other Bristol properties and wanted to try this one out. Formerly the Bristol City Hotel, the building has been completely rennovated and modernized. There is a large, easy-to-access carpark in front of the hotel, unique for Bristol City Center. HHonors Diamond members get free parking - also a huge plus. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was quiet, clean and ... Read more

Stayed with my partner overnight whilst we visited for an event in Bristol, on a Saturday night. Very close to the train station, and a ten minute walk from the harbour side, so in a perfect location. Very easy and quick check-in, and we received lovely warm free cookies on arrival! The room was a little bit small, but perfect for the two of us. Room was very clean and modern, with large television and good selection of teas and coffees. The bathroom was gorgeously modern and clean, with very g... Read more

Great location for town and a top room, and whats better than waking up to church bells on a Sunday morning. Spacious yet not silly, it was a great room. Oh and the pillows were outstanding. Breakfast was spot on and all the staff couldn't have been more helpful.

I chose this hotel after looking for quite a while and I was really disappointed. What I wanted was a hotel close to the city center that was quiet and with a bath. What I got was a room so noisy on the Saturday night that we had to change rooms. I have never heard noise like it, booming down the corridor. It sounded like a rave was happening next door with swearing, offensive music and clinking. However, the staff managed to change our room. The next night we could hear every word of our new... Well situated hotel with lots of parking albeit £15 a night now. Very clean hotel, staff all friendly and nothing too much trouble. Food good quality in restaurant and bar. Pleased to see a local cider on draught Ashton Gate delicious and Brunel IPA bitter which my husband said was very good. Never yet had a bad breakfast experience at a Doubletree and this hotel provided a large choice and excellent quality of products. The sausages were very tasty.

This hotel is an great location for the Harbour, City Centre as well as Clifton. Very efficient check-in with the added bonus of hot cookies! Our room was on the 5th floor and was exactly as depicted in the hotel website image-great! Our breakfast was inclusive and we found the restaurant staff to be very attentive and helpful. The complementary bottled water was a nice touch too.Lovely shower in the bathroom (no bath- not an issue for us ,however worth checking if you would like a bath) and the... Read more

Negatives: 12.50 to park. 15 for breakfast ( which we therefore didnt have). The room was tiny, the tea/coffee draw opened onto the bed and the little under window sofa touched the bed also, so you couldn't even walk around. The room was freezing when we arrived and the duvet was very thin. We also had to ask to move rooms, as even though I paid extra to have a King Room, the bed was actually 2 twins pushed together with a big gap. Pros : decent price, warm welcome (with cookie) and lovely ... Read more
