By far one of the best hotels I‚??ve ever stayed up out of the United States. My recommendation I think this is the best hotel in Puerto Plata Dominican republic. Not too big close to the water and nice and quiet. The hotel staff is very accommodating. Looking forward to my return I highly recommend anybody who wants to stay at a luxury hotel

This hotel is very well provided for in terms of décor and facilities, the staff are attentive and gracious, the rooms are large and well appointed, when ordering the breakfast unless you are very hungry avoid the American as it a full three courses, but I still managed it. I would have no hesitation in giving my recommendation to this hotel.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel with around 30 rooms and beautiful garden like surroundings, service is 5 star and a beautiful private beach. Drinks are very good and the spa offer a 5 star treatments. The restaurant is also good and the pool at the top has a view over the bay to die very. Highly recommended.

We were so sad to leave today! Casa Colonial really surpassed our expectations! The pictures do not do this hotel justice. You cannot capture its ambiance and feeling in a picture. Once you enter the gates you feel like you have been transported somewhere else; you feel immediately relaxed. We were there to celebrate our anniversary and we couldn‚??t have chosen a better hotel. A previous reviewer described it quite right as affordable luxury because you get a lot more than what you pay for. My ... Read more

Let me begin by saying the hotel is beautiful and I was considering hosting my daughter's destination wedding here. I repeat: WAS CONSIDERING! I have stayed in many if the finest hotels around the world and along with excellent accommodations, travelers expect exemplary customer service. I can go anywhere I want and choose particular properties for specific reasons. I vacation, mainly in Dominican Republic, and do so between 8-10 times a year. I have been all around the island, and considered ... Read more

A very impresive property around an area that you lease expected, cover by other properties of lesser quality, this is a top off the line, 5 star property for sure, the rooms, the staff, the detals and more. The level of details and top of the line standars. The griunds are well mantaine and more. The pool in the roof, what it view.

Perfect in every regard...service, staff, interior/exterior....a 5 star property all the way. Personal service, just 50 rooms, makes for a tailored experience. The staff was attentive and aware of who you are. They ensure all your needs were met and anticipated your wants. Just excellent.

We stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel was very beautiful, particularly in the lounge/bar area with some unusual quirky pieces of furniture. The pool area was nice, with a nice view of the beach. It was a bit difficult getting to the hot tub areas when people where dining as you had to go through the dining area as there is no other way to the front. The beach was nice and someone got you settled when you arrived and gave you towels. The rooms were very large with seating area and a large b... Read more

Beautiful location, understated elegance, but what's most impressive is the service. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and go out of their way to serve. We are very picky about hotels and tend to enjoy the small luxury hotels. This one really fit the bill. Great for families (we went with a 13, 10, and 10 year old sons) so long as you're not expecting countless onsite amenities. A truly sophisticated experience. Good was also very good with many menu choices. Rooms were large and spotless... Read more
