I stayed at the Plaza on a dive trip without my wife in early December. For my purposes the hotel was fine as in ... I didn't worry about bringing wet dive gear into my room. But, this hotel is very basic and probably not great for couples. The shower was very difficult to adjust, restaurant is not a great option, and there isn't a bar. If you are in Curacao on a budget and don't mind very basic accommodations the Plaza is ok. But I'd look for other options first.

This is in need of a refresh of d├ęcor, it's pretty dated. But... location, location, location! It is in a prime location. The hotel was clean, and it was a good price. If you're visiting the islands with the sole intent of staying in your hotel, this might not be the place for you. However, if like me, you use vacation hotels as a 'crash-pad', then this clean, no-frills, great location, safe hotel might be for you.

Overall my experience at this hotel was meh. The staff was lovely and the rooms were clean and maintained. However, everything about the place is in poor condition and in desperate need of repair. It's too bad because the location is PERFECT and has amazing views of the harbor. It's too bad because the foyer is amazing and hearkens back to a grander time. Now, however, I believe the management has just given up on fixing anything. I really wish I had read the reviews before booking, o... Read more

While the lobby looks grand with a lovely staircase and marble, fish pond and old fashioned ceiling fans, the rooms were very dated, adequate but dated. We felt did not represent what was on their website. Plus, if your room happens to be on second or third floor overlooking the pool in the long part ( not tower ) starting at 5 am or so, you hear people leaving with their suitcases clanking down the hall as there is no carpet, just tile floors.

Party on the beach you should visit mambo beach, the scooter rent cost me 30 usd per day. And u can find the guy on the side of queen emma bridge on the otrobanda si... Read more

Only a few steps to the floating bridge and shopping areas. This is the location you want to be at. The lobby is beautiful and the whole building has a unique design as it's located inside and apart of a historical fort. The rooms are simplistic and wifi has a hard time working while inside your room. Works fine in hallways and lobby. The plane could use a complete touch-up but comfortable non the less.

This is the worse hotel I hosted in my life. The bedrooms are just poor and dirty, the badroom doesn't have the basic. The food in restorant is horribly and even dangerous to eat. Don't book this hotel is a cheat.

The building needs a renovation. The lobby is very dark and musty. The room was clean but the bathroom wasn't. The people who work their are polite. Breakfast and dinner are amazing. They really know how to cook.

Great location and ample parking, but our room on the 10th floor was in rough shape. WiFi didn't work in the room, TV didn't work, soap dispenser in the bathroom didn't work. Fixtures were falling apart. Tiny casino with broken slot machines. Not quite worth the price compared to other places on the island.

The location is perfect for having fun downtown, the room was clean, with a view of the harbor, the outdoor bar has the best sunset view in town and a good happy hour. The property is a short walk from everything, you should visit the Arches for great food and waterfront dining. The Casino was lucky for me !
