Everything was great. You might want to brush up on your Spanish but the front desk staff were certainly bi-lingual. The facilities included zip-lining, bathing in natural volcanic hot springs and horse riding.

Even though it was rainy season we've enjoyed our stay in the nice green and quite place. The hot springs are very romantic and a fun and recomandable excursion to do. Bring your own drinks if you dont want to spend money on that.

Rooms simple but fine. Proparty and activities are right next to your room and great!! Waterfalls and canyoning were amazing! Restaurant also fine, nice bar outside for a drink in the afternoon or evening

As an individual traveler (couple) on our own in a rental car, we found the place not really geared to our type of travel. If you're coming in on a tour bus, fine. For those who travel on your own, own car and itinerary, etc., this place may not be for you. Just spend a day doing their activities but don't go out of your way to stay or necessarily eat. We did have a reasonable time, but found a little ignored unless you're with a bus.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights and to be honest it was the most we would like to have stayed for. The staff at the hotel are fantastic but the hotel itself is looking tired and in need of a refurb. The room we had was very basic and had no TV in the room. The bathroom was grubby and really needed a good old deep clean and maybe a complete makeover. There was no hot water for a shower after dark as the water is heated by the sun. The restaurant and bar were ok and the staff were fantast... Read more

Stayed 2 nights as part of a Thomson holiday. Zip lining, tubeing and horse riding were on the agenda and we had a great time participating in these activities. The staff at the activity centre were professional and very well organised and we always set off on time. All the staff were friendly and courteous and went out of their way to offer help when needed. Cannot rate them highly enough. The BIG downfall: the room. Oh my lord - how did this place get a Certificate of Excellence? Whilst yes,... Read more

I wish I had known before hand about the outrageous numbers of biting and stinging insects in the area. My wife and I were literally eaten alive. I left there today with with an unbelievable number of stings and bite. I stopped counting at 50. The resort itself is perfectly situated, close to the national park and loaded with amenities for hotel guests. We took advantage of the hot springs every day. The quality of the food in the restaurant was good. The rooms were adequate although we had no... Read more

This is for the river tubing only. My children are strong swimmers, and we have all rafted Class 2 and 3 rapids before. We all surf, paddle board, and raft in the Pacific and in the Sierra Nevada. The river tubing was marketed as class 2 and 3. The day we were there they were Class 3 and 4. The Guachipelin guides told everyone in the group that the river was higher than normal due to recent mountain rains, but that we would all be o.k. Never once did they warn us that these would be Class ... Read more

This little resort is very close to Liberia, and can be reached in under 45 minutes on paved roads from the Liberia airport. It comprises ~50 rooms in long, one-storey buildings loosely arranged around an open green area. There is a small but nice, secluded feeling swimming pool. There is one restaurant on site that is open for 3 meals a day with both buffet and a la carte options. The property is well known for its on-site "adventure centre" that offers horseback riding, zip lining, and river t... Read more
