This was a great hotel in Santiago. On the outskirts but a 20min ride from anywhere in Uber which was cheap. Across from a mall with restaurant options if you want to go out but not too far. Also, if you want to take the hop on/hop off bus the first stop is at the mall too (worth it to hear the city history). Rooms are comfortable, very clean and well kept. We ate in the bar the day we arrived and the food was good. Tasty mojitos! The spa is nice and very reasonable lu priced. The staff are th... Read more

Hotel Santiago is now Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group??s First Property In South America. It is now called Hotel Santiago by Mandarin. It was still under considerable renovations when we visited in late Oct 2017, but they managed to isolate most of the construction. It is a great location for access to Santiago, not far from the airport (except in rush hours.) The service was very attentive and friendly. The rooms are very nice for an in-city hotel-- not all will have any decent "view." The p... Read more

We arrived before check in time but were treated with great courtesy.A cup of coffee was provided and a room materialised within 20 minutes! Very welcome after a 14 hour flight. Everyone in the reception were so friendly. This comfortable modern hotel is not close to the centre but in a relatively quiet safe area. The hop on hop off bus stop is a 10 minute walk away, just by the biggest Mall in S.America with a range of good restaurants.Great breakfasts and choice of nice restaurants in the hotel ... The front desk staff left a wonderful first impression. Felipe and Mitchel were the first to greet us and we had wonderful service from Andrea and Ambrosio as well. Literally everyone we encountered was lovely, warm and accommodating . We arrived early and they made sure that we were comfortable with a coffee while we had a brief wait for our room. Our beds at the Renaissance were by far the best I had in Chile, down blankets and pillows which is my fav. My mother had heard about the other M... Read more

Facilities are excellent, heavy traffic around due to construction. Concierge staff (Walter), bell staff (Fernando), bar (Camilo) and the rest of the crew were outstanding. As a lifetime platinum member the only reason why I give them a 5 stars is that I know they??re striving to be the best hotel there. The only exception was the front desk supervisor who did not follow up on a request for later than expected checkout due to a late afternoon meeting. I made the request at checkin and had 4pm a... We just returned from Santiago, Chile where we stayed at the lovely Renaissance Santiago. Like other Renaissance properties we've stayed at in other parts of the world, this one has that kind of cool-kid ambiance that we love. The location is in a chic area called Vitacura, surrounded by many streets of nice condo buildings. This makes it a wonderfully safe place to walk. And it is a mere 10 minutes walk to one of Santiago's largest malls. this means, however, that it is not in the business cent... Read more

Great 1 night stay at the Renaissance. It's close to the mall across the street and in a clean safe part of the city. The rooms were better than expected with stone bathrooms and very new furniture. I'd stay here again.

I have been meaning to write this note for a while but I travel between two or three weeks out of the month and never get around to sending my thanks to the team at the Renaissance hotel in Santiago for always making me feel at home when I visit them. They go above and beyond what is expected from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave. Gabriela, Felipe, Mitchel and Francisco greet you with a smile and are always upbeat. There is never a moment when they or the rest of the team, Fiorel... Read more

I stayed at the Renaissance for two weeks for business in October 2017 and will be staying here any time I return to Santiago. The rooms are updated and spacious. Also, the location is very good - within walking distance of great restaurants on Alonso de Cordova and Parque Arauco. I went to Torres del Paine for four days after business and the hotel held all of my extra bags while I was away. Upon returning from TDP, I stayed here for two more nights. When checking in, Mitchel gave out a few dri... Read more

Love love love this hotel! Excellent welcome by Carlos and Fiorella who gave us an amazing room. Max who got as a taxi very quick and Victor who sorted our transport and excursion brilliantly. The spa is to die for. There a comfy ropes and slippers and everything is clean and warm. Sky bar not finished yet but promises to be amazing. No not in city center but taxi during the day will cost you less than 7000 pesos. View is astonishing! Thank you for this lovely lovely stay
