This is a minimalist chic boutique hotel in a classically hip Toronto neighborhood that won't break your bank. The bed was comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and I didn't have to deal with crowds of tourists. Look, the rooms are small, unless you splurge for an upgrade. The rooms also don't have windows--just frosted glass panes. You are getting a lot more than what you are paying for and if you're a snowflake who startles when someone walks down the hallway, use the ear plugs prov... Read more

First of all, we did NOT stay in one of the tiny standard rooms, so this review applies only to the upgraded and spacious room we reserved. Upon our arrival, the young staff held our luggage until check-in time and then ensured the luggage was already in our room when we checked in later in the day. There's a strange, very slow elevator behind reception - gives you the impression it was a later add-on to this tiny building. Our large upgraded room had two large windows facing Queen Street West. ... Read more

Small room but well later out to give storage and tv in ceiling. It ok for one night. Go to the roof bar. Staff super friendly. Happy to chat to you and provide recommendations around town. Not to central but 15 min walkable from downtown.

Wife and I stayed for 3 nights mid-August. Great location as right in the heart of the entertainment district and a short walk from CN tower. Received a very warm welcome when we arrived and cannot fault the staff at all during our visit especially the Girls serving at the roof top bar which was a nice way to end the evening after a busy day exploring all that Toronto has to offer. The hotel room itself is very very small but we expected this from previous comments, I would say it would be pe... Read more

This hotel is a compact, decent place for business visits and short stays. It has a rooftop patio with bar, rooms are compact, clean and well insulated. You are a few blocks away from CN Tower, the main CBD area in Toronto downtown, shopping malls and great restaurants. The staff is friendly and courteous especially Arnold, Maria & Michelle. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at The Beverley again. Thank you.

When I booked at The Beverley, I had hoped to have found a nice budget friendly hotel in a decent area of Toronto. What I found was a hotel that looked nice at face value, was a horrendous experience in the end. When I first entered my room I immediately noticed that there was no window, well, not no window but one that was facing a wall with only two inches between the window and a wall. Fine, I thought, I am only here to get a good nights rest, no reason that should matter much. The rest o... Read more

Walked in at about 11 am on a Sunday for brunch, and there was plenty of seating. The waiter brought us our coffee right away and then quietly told as that if we ordered quickly he could put us in front of the party of 10 also eating brunch so we wouldn't have to wait (major points for this!) we got our food quickly and it was absolutely delicious. The apple waffles were divine. How to keep it cheap : the food was inexpensive and good. It's the mimosas and specialty drinks that carry the high ... Read more

It is very well located in downtown Toronto, close to some nice coffee shops and restaurants and to the shopping district. However, it is recommended only if you DO not intent to spent time in the hotel. Rooms are extremely small (compared only to Japanese ones), although nice and cosy. There is no lobby or other rest area to speak of. Do ask a room at the lower possible floor since there is no elevator!!!!

The Beverley Hotel is a modern, boutique hotel located close to theatres, restaurants and bars in downtown Toronto! The rooms are extremely small limiting your ability to use the room other than for sleeping or showering! The sink in our room was directly across from the bed. The double bed was almost as wide as the room. The television hung from the ceiling over the bed. There was a window in our room which looked out to a metal staircase. The elevator was not operating which made it challengin... Read more
