We were travelling with a group from the CAA on the Rocky Mountaineer. This was our overnight stay for 1 night. I had read some of the reviews so was a little concerned about the quality of this establishment. Well, as with all things, reviews are of personal opinion. After a long day on the train we were tired when we arrived but all worries I may gave had were negated. The hotel is relatively new. Clean and fresh. Yes the carpeting could do with a clean but it wasn't bad. The room was... Read more

They had no water at the hotel from 5pm when we checked in until 10:30pm. We were continuously told water would be restored "shortly" from 7pm onwards. Hotel staff and management were obviously dealing with a lot of things outside of their control during this time, but we weren't even offered bottled water, and were only informed of the inconvenience after my colleague had completed check-in. We chose to stay, and didn't expect compensation for circumstances outside of their control, but I feel ... Read more

We stayed overnight here. It is a bit out of town but close to supermarkets and there are a few restaurants close by. A little bit dated but the bed was comfortable and it was a quiet location. Minor annoyance was that the bath plug wouldn't stay up so as you showered water didn't run away but it's ok.

Sandman in Quesnel is modern, clean and comfortable. Staff are courteous, pleasant and efficient. We stayed in a king jr suite. Bed was very comfortable and room spotless. Easy access off main highway, in building restaurant which is very good too with nice service. Gas station across street.

I stayed there end of summer 2016 for two weeks and since the location was very convenient (walking distance to Subway, Del Mar, Walmart and Extra Food + attached Dennis) I liked it. It was cozy, pretty clean and comfortable with friendly staff. I stayed in a suite and pretty much good one bedroom with two doors to bathroom and ,,, Most important thing after cleanness was Internet that was acceptable. The only thing I did NOT certainly like, was the cover of their furniture which was like a c... Read more

We recently stayed 4 nights at the Quesnel Sandman Hotel. Received a discount because the 4 nights we were there was to recover from a medical treatment. Great service, great room. There were not many guests because this was just around New Years when most people stay home. My wife used the swimming pool daily. We went for a few meals to attached restaurant. Food was great. I highly recommend the Sandman.

I stayed here for a few days. I was checked in by Debbie who was fantastic. Very personable and informative. She even upgraded my room. Nice to have working plug-ins for the truck when it's -25. Good working equipment in the fitness centre. Very comfortable beds and clean rooms. Coffee in the lobby was a nice touch as well. Wifi pretty slow. The attached Dennys and shark club restaurants make it convenient. A very comfortable place to stay.

The Beds are Glorious!!!!!! Many hotels "say" they have comfortable beds, but usually end up being hard, too bouncy or just plain sacked out. Our journey to Quesnel is always by car, and an 8-10 hour drive, so comfort is our #1 priority when choosing a hotel. Take it from someone with chronic back pain, the Sandman Hotel Quesnel, has wonderfully comfortable beds! The rooms were super clean, and the staff was always pleasant and helpful. We've stayed with them 3 times now, and will continue to k... Read more
