We were there for my son to experience Algonquin College rez life (close enough!). Check-in was fine, but there was no-one manning the desk at any other time during our stay. The housekeeping staff came 15 minutes before we were ready to leave for the day -- I told them to come back in 15 minutes & they did not. Our room was not serviced at all during our stay of 2 nights -- and there was no-one at the desk for complaints & the phone did not get any local line (contrary to advertised). The heat ... Read more

Needed a cheap place to stay near family tried it and it was OK. Just OK. 2 Bdroom layout good for family trips. Pro's: 1) Cost 2) Quiet for student residence 3) Location Cons: 1) Using a charge card to pay for parking was a pain (unless I had a rookie deskclerk) conflict of sorts between residence & college. 2) Plumbing - Toilet in RM#1st night didn't work well. Shower in RM 2nd night was not hot 3) Doors & trim needed paint. 4) Microwavable mugs instead of plastic/paper cups would be en... Read more

For $68 a night this is a really good deal. It's like getting an apartment minis a living room. Two bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom. That's better then some hotels. And it's right down town. Course if your older with kids you feel a little funny walking into a college dorm and getting a "hotel" room. But if you get passed that it's great.

The place is clean, but run down and extremely basic, for $100/night you would expect more. They provide toilet paper and tissue paper, nothing whatsoever in the kitchen other than the coffee maker, microwave and fridge, no plates, cutlery or anything of the sort. Sheets and blanket are thin, but clean. The bed is a double, metal frame, spring bed, not comfortable, but will work if you are only there for a few days, not 2 weeks like I did. No closets, just 4 hangers in a section to hang your ... Read more

My sister and I stayed here to attend a family function at a nearby location in Ottawa. We each had our own room and it was lovely and quiet. We brought breakfast food and our own dishes taking full advantage of the kitchen.

During the summer it has a very good price to rent and it's cheaper than during the educational semester. It's small but worth it. There are amenities to have fun with friends such as ping pong table, a pool, soccer field and so on.

Stayed here with my mom. It was a two bedroom dorm. Kitchenette with table and two chairs, microwave, fridge and keurig machine. Very clean. Friendly and professional staff. No problems during our stay. Close to stores, restaurants and coffee shops. Bus stop right in front. Would definitely stay here, again. Thank you.

I was pleasantly surprised at the great stay I had with some concerns going in since the rooms are on the ground floor of a students' residence. But these were quickly dispelled by the friendly helpful welcome. At first glance, the room did have a ‚??studenty‚?? feel about it but I soon felt completely relaxed and comfortable. The overall two-bedroom apartment was clean and the bed was good, TV worked fine, bathroom was very functional and wi-fi excellent. The caf√©/shop just down the hall was ... Read more

The pros: Reasonable price, conveniently located. Plenty of room. Clean linens, utilitarian but comfortable beds. I stayed there with my son and for $89 US per night we each got our own room Yes...they are former student housing...and are not Martha-Stewart-approved. Especially as compared to the $500/night accommodations my company put me up in while on business in Boston. But for my $$ - I was very pleased with the place. The cons: The maids start WAY too early and the echo-ey hallway rings ... Read more

Loved the building, so easy to find, enjoyed the suite, and so close to all amenities. The only problem that I had was the pillows. The pillows could be better. Slightly dated but all and all, a great place and great price
