I stayed here for work during a storm outage. I was called into the area and our dispatch arranged the hotel stays. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to make everything as great as possible, all of us with the work group were working 14 hour days, had no issues and were well looked after. After the long days the beds here were so comfortable, the rooms were great. Staff also made sure to have extras organized so that during our long days we were able to make the most of t... Read more

I stayed overnight after having LASIK MD eye surgery. Welcoming staff we so kind and helpful. VERY accommodating making sure my beautiful room was close to reception and continental breakfast. My daughter came from Fredericton for the night. Each time my daughter and I entered the lobby I was asked how I was feeling and if everything was ok. AMAZING HOSPITALITY and genuine kindness. Looking forward to going back!

Another ice storm. Another great stay at the Rodd. My husband & I lost power for 3 days. And it wasn't so bad thanks to Tammy Ryder(GM) and the friendly staff at the Rodd. I love the modern decor, cozy beds & my husband really enjoys the complementary breakfast to get his day started right. Thank you to Austin & Max who came my rescue when I couldn't get the cable to work. And a big thank you to the Rodd Moncton for keeping us warm and safe this past week. Much appreciated!!

Stayed here 1 night.. was welcomed in the lobby and treated well by staff. The room seemed cleaned and the bathroom had all of the necessities.. the beds were comfortable. Carpet was very dirty and stained as was the sofa chair. Convient location as it is downtown and it is also nice that you have the option to have a room with direct access outside. You get what you pay for a roof over your head, a bed, washroom and a TV.

We were in Moncton for a bowling tourney and we decided to stay close to the bowling alley. We chose the Rodd Hotel. This was the first time we ever stayed at this hotel chain. It was a very pleasant stay and very accommodating. Will certainly stay here again. Pros: Staff was super friendly and they all had a great sense of humor (which was awesome because my other half was a bit tipsy), room was clean and breakfast was great! Cons: bathroom was really small.

We had just a fantastic time at Rodd Moncton! They had amazingly comfortable beds (slept like a baby). It was in the perfect location for all of the things that we wanted/needed to do on our trip to Moncton for the night.

Stayed for one night during December. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was in the newer part of the building and we were quite comfortable. There is nothing overly remarkable about this hotel but as a traveler who prefers to stay in the downtown of a city, this was an affordable option for a quick stopover. Downtown hotels in Moncton can be hard to find for under $150/night and this was a welcome discovery.

I made the reservation for a Saturday night as were we're going to a work Christmas party and we didn't want to drive home after a few drinks as we live outside the city, and the hotel was very close to the venue. The young lady at the front desk was fine, not overly friendly and asked if we wanted to upgrade from the double bed. I opened my iPad with my confirmation and challenged her on the double bed, which she shrugged off saying, oh, yeah, queen bed. Then we were told breakfast was only ... Read more

We stayed at this property Sunday and Monday of this week. From the moment we came through the door the staff was professional and very friendly. The lady at the front desk gave us a couple of recommendations on dining choices in downtown Moncton which is a short walk from this well placed location. The room was well appointed and clean and there is a hot breakfast included with the nights stay. If you are looking for a place to stay in downtown Moncton I would definitely recommend the Rodd Monc... Read more
