Stayed for 11 nights on our 3rd visit to this hotel. We were in a premium room which had a separate living area and generally a good size. Room has all amenities you could ask for - coffee maker & kettle with daily replenishments of tea and coffee, mini fridge, free safe, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, toiletries, bathrobes, fans (not that we needed it at a daily temp of around -25c!). Hot tubs are great although with the cold temps as well, seemed to have a reaction to the chemicals, steam ... Read more

Banff is beautiful, tranquil, breathtaking. The lodge was cosy, I feel that they need an extractor fan for the kitchen as it can become quite heated and smelly when cooking in the cabins. Good location for all travellers and loved the fireplace in the cabin.

Don't expect to sleep - loud banging and other noise can be heard easily in the room. Housekeeping is awful, found several dirty socks under the beds, and the room had a permanent smell of bad seafood. Outdoor hot tubs are great and of course it's nice to be in Banff, but there are so many other options - book elsewhere!

Just returned from week stay in room 331 on the top floor overlooking the two outdoor spa. Reception and breakfast staff couldn't be better, very helpful in all ways. Ski shuttle stops just up the road. Room ok if a little cold and really comfy beds. Only annoying thing all week was having booked three adults in our room in 2double beds. When we arrived the rooms was set for only 2 people so we had to call for extra mug, glasses, coffee sachets, towels and robe. The next day the cleaner had remov... Read more

Having spent a lot more money for places in Banff, and being disappointed, I have to say I was really impressed with the Banff Aspen Lodge. The rooms are basic (but nicer and more modern than most hotels in this price range) comfortable, and for the price it is tough to beat. Great outdoor hot tub area with a sauna and giant fireplace. They offer a great little continental buffet breakfast. It's not fancy, but when included in the price it is a great bonus...and it was good. We had no compla... Read more

I stayed here in a group of 4 for 3 nights in January. The location is a very short stroll to the center of the town and a few steps from the bus stop to the slopes. We had a room for four, one double and two singles. The double was cleverly separated from the twin by the bathroom and gave an unexpected element of privacy to the couple. The staff were pleasant and courteous. Wifi was good, Hot-tubs and breakfast were excellent. Great little coffee shop in the hotel also.

8 nights in Banff at the Aspen on a skiing holiday. Awesome! No complaints here. Great location. Ski shuttle just at the corner and beautiful down town Banff a short walk. Shops, restaurants and clubs all right there. Hot tubs a wonderful way to soothe the body after a big day on the slopes and quite social if you like to have a chat. Everyone so friendly. Breakfast- no worries. Just have to walk in and help yourself- who could complain about that?. So convenient not to have to think about it ... Read more

We booked at the Banff Aspen Lodge for a last minute visit and were thrilled with our find. The hotel has been wonderfully renovated with stylish rooms, had a great breakfast buffet and the courtyard hottub was a treat. Highly recommend!

A great hotel in a central location. Ski buses stop less than a minutes walk away and the ski room is easily accessed; padlocks and keys are provided free, you just have to sign to say you will pay if you lose them. Rooms are spacious and well equipped; safe, hairdryer, bathrobes, coffee machine and kettle, good TV etc. Very clean with plenty of fresh towels and toiletries. The queen size bed was ok. The room fridge was a bit noisy but you could have it switched off if you wanted. Strangely we p... Read more

We have stayed in this Hotel many times in the past and we are still impressed with the room and service the Aspen Lodge provides. The rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained. The hotel also makes a charitable donation if you select the environmental saving of clean linens and towels. All you could ask for and more.
