If you are looking for a place away from the craziness of Pub Street yet still be only a few hundred meters away from everything in the center of Siem Reap, then look no further. The Khmer-style villas are not only unique but are nice, comfortable and well-appointed. The pool area is a great respite after all the walking you'll be doing from visiting the temples. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The breakfast is delicious. I also had the hotel help me book all of my excursions down to ... Read more

Our villa was a 2 story assortment of rooms. It was clean but very old looking. This little hotel is perfect for sightseeing and just relaxing. They can arrange a tuk tuk to take u around for just several dollars. The location is safe to explore the markets during the evening hours. It is just minutes of walking from the 2 markets , the old and night market.

Rambutan isn't perfect but it's very good and the location is excellent being just the other side of the river from the main areas containing the night markets and Pub St so it's convenient but without the noise and lights of that area It is obviously a place used a lot by gay men, but by no means exclusively. I had a deluxe room which had it's own balcony (most seemed to) with a bath and shower on it (there was also a shower in the room!). They will organise you all the tours that you might ... Read more

I really enjoyed my stay here, and really appreciated the fantastic room on two floors, with an enormous amount of space in the upper floor with a nice balcony overlooking the small pool, and the ground floor taken up with a large, comfy bed and very pleasant bathroom with a power shower. The wifi wasn't great, which was a little disappointing. However, the staff were always helpful, the breakfasts tasty and the location, up an alley, is quiet but a 5 minute walk away from the city centre. I to... Read more

Relatively close to the center of Siem Reap but relatively quiet. Many restaurants nearby They arrange daytrips, etc. with affiliated guides at typical Siem Reap prices. the room was clean and well appointed with a balcony and separate living area upstairs from the sleeping area--the split arrangement may not work for everyone. Meals are at the companion property down the alley and they do a very good, ample breakfast. These two properties are no longer affiliated with the two, similar Golden Ba... Read more

I would recommend this hotel if you're looking to avoid the big resorts and want to stay in the city. The extra nice thing is that it's a 5 min walk to the city center, so away from the noise. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast had many varieties and was tasty. Rooms were perfect. Homey and clean. Big shower. Very good bed. My only complaint is that the wifi was not strong and occasionally blanked out.

Had a beyond relaxing experience here. The rooms are gorgeous and the staff is very friendly. Everything is taken care of and breakfast is even included. The two pools are perfect for a refreshing dip after a trip to nearby Angkor Wat. Would definitely recommend this place and stay here again!

I have so many good things to say about this hotel! First the location is perfect. It's tucked away a side alley so you don't get the traffic and noise from the hustle and bustle of the city. But close enough to walk to pub street and the market. Maybe 3 blocks away. Hotel is beautiful and relaxing. Only downfall is the two story duplex doesn't have a/c on the second story. And the bathroom is upstairs. So your going up and down stairs to use the restroom. But there is a/c in the bedroom. STA... Read more

Please NOTE: when you book a standard room at the resort it is actually at the hotel. They have 2x listings on trip advisor, bookings etc. We whinged until they gave us the crappiest room in the resort which was full of mosquitos. We should have said nothing coz the hotel didn't look that different to the resort. Both hotels are pretty avo but what can you expect, that's just Siem Reap!

Although I already stayed with Rambutan Resort and Rambutan Phnom Penh, but my favorite one was Rambutan Hotel Siem Reap. The room I stayed had two floors and both of them were very homey and amazing!! However, I was also so in love with the little balcony in our room!! All the staffs were very nice and professional trained. I am sure I will come back again:)
