I am writing this as I am a member of the Iberostar Club! The staff make this hotel special. Bruno in the Star Prestige bar is superb! Large layout so if you want to be quiet you can. Met with the management. Really nice people. Food is a good standard. Can't fault it. Didn't try the entertainment so can't comment. Large hotel so the buffet gets full. Choose your time well!

Highlights: facilities, location, kids entertainment, surf instructors (particularly Fernando); chambermaid services, capoeira presentation on Friday afternoon. Food was normally ok. Good variety, but quality not always the best (well, it is an all-inclusive resort). We ate at the Japanese (more like a Mongolian BBQ place, not so much special to us foodwise) and at the Steakhouse in addition to the regular restaurants by the pool and where breakfast is served. We had read bad reviews of the St... Read more

Over the years it has been our 5th stay in this hotel, we are always coming with high expectations given the previous excellent experiences and again have not been disappointed. Compared to a lot of other (Iberostar)hotels the major difference is the staff, always friendly, smiling and in a good mood (be it Maria Souza in Mei Rei, Everton at the pool bar, Jose at the pool...). We stayed over X-mas and New years eve and on both occasions the dinner was outstanding. Delicious food well presented.... Read more

Went there for one week holiday during new year's. Was scared that because it is so big it would be a mess. Quite the opposite!!! Very well organized, food was good and service truly 5 stars. The facilities are in very good shape. Excellent spa and good pricing on the services. I suggest an upgrade to the premium services if you are looking for quiet and romantic time. They have a separate beach lounge and higher quality beverages. Well worth the money!!!! Would definetly go back.

We had an amazing experience at Iberostar. Our whole family loved it and it is such a great resort for all ages. The staff members and crew are so welcoming and fun. Thank you Pichot, Lego, Minotauro, Renata, and the rest of the team!

This was my first time going to an all inclusive resort as an adult so I had zero expectations. I found the hotel to be really well run, clean and perfect for the price. The rooms were nice and the pool and beach were perfect. The special restaurants helped to provide a variety of food as the main buffet can get tiring after a few days. The fact the hotel put on a special Christmas dinner for everyone at no extra cost was fantastic.

Well, first off let me qualify that I loved it here and had a great time. There were 2 huge conventions while I was there, so they let me use the other resort too (Iberostar Praia do Forte) which was a relief. The good stuff - great beach, amazing pools with swim-up bars, more food and drink than you can handle... The bad. Well nothing specific, just that it's not 5-star. It's a good 4-star and shoudn't pretend otherwise. The quality, attention to detail etc. that is expected from a 5-sta... Read more

A really nice all inclusive resort.Good food , good service and a great kids club. Our 4 year old boy just loved to spend time with the staff from Kids club , they made all effort to make kids having fun. The only bad thing is the cleaning staff. Our room was ok at all times but we saw some empty bottles left on the ground for days..... We do recommend all travellers to ask for a room at the building number 2 that stays between 2 pools and near main restaurant.

Great location at a wonderful beach. Very nice climate and the hotel buildings are nice. Service is below expectations, as it lacks friendliness. If it had better service I would rate it 4 stars. Five stars would not comply to a large family resort.
