We recently spent 3 days at Belcampo and wished it had been longer. We were totally taken care of with excellent, friendly service from everyone we encountered. The food was delicious and fresh with much of it harvested directly from their organic gardens. Our room was very comfortable and also unique due to the beautiful jungle surroundings, including a screened in porch. We did several interesting/educational excursions with knowledgeable and congenial guides and also enjoyed hiking the exte... Read more

First off, I should have written this review months ago. I don't even know where to start with this review, Belcampo is hands down the most incredible and amazing place I have ever been in my life. Words cannot even begin to describe this magical place, it is simply something that you must see and experience for yourself! My girlfriend and I spent 3 nights/4 days at the lodge and took in all that they have to offer. Snorkel with a Chef is single-handedly one of the best experiences I have ever... Read more

We did not stay at Belcampo, but were in the area and dropped by for Breakfast. The food was wonderful! The views are absolutely breathtaking. The seating areas and bars are all decorated beautifully. Even though we did not stay there, the staff offered to take us for a tour of one of the rooms. We took a ride on the mechanic lift down to the river. There are many trails, a lengthy stair case that had more than 350 steps. My husband took it back up, it was a workout! We definitely want ... This is probably the finest hotel we have stayed in the whole of Latin America, certainly the best in a rainforest location. Our ridge suite was incomparable, so luxurious and elegant, huge veranda with several places to sit and a view over the jungle towards sunset and of course the wonderful outside bath with the view. Wifi available in the ridge suites. Very handy to have our own infinity pool and loungers just outside our door. We didn't do any of the excursions as we only spent two nigh... Read more

Amazing food, staff and accommodations. The excursions were great- we especially loved snorkeling with the chef. The food was absolutely amazing and so fresh. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Left yesterday and miss it already.

I was so surprised about the lodge ! It has now become one of my favorite recommendations for Belize. I travel to this destination at least twice a year and Belcampo blew me away! That food was delicious....the eggs tasted different..I felt I was eating the healthiest food ever!! The personnel super friendly and my room was huge with the most amazing view of the REAL jungle in Belize.

If you want a fantastic room combined with the friendliest staff, book a room here! We enjoyed our stay so much that we didn't want to leave. Traditionally, the lodge has marketed to fly fishermen. Our guide accomodated our desire for traditional rod and reels. We had a successful fishing trip and created fabulous memories. Snorkeling with chef was an awesome choice for us. The staff taught my husband how to catch lobster and the chef cooked them on the grill. It doesn't getting any fresher ... Read more

All i can say! My family LOVED everything about our visit to Belcampo. You truly feel like you are in another world after flying to the end of the air taxi line. The resort itself is stunning, lush, and expansive. We loved the variety of activities available right on property, and having access to so many unique guided activities off-property made it easy to explore. The food was incredible! One of our favorite activities was going out into the jungle and chopping down a heart of palm t... Read more

This was our 4th stop/lodge in Belize. We started up north and made our way south. Belcampo was by far my favourite place, and made my holiday! I have forgotten the names of the various staff, we loved everybody. We were collected by such a lovely guy at the airport. Everyone was so friendly and still professional. We were in the ridge suite, 4 suites separate to the main lodge, which share a beautiful pool up at the top of the mountain. Its private, secluded, has one of the most perfectly place... Read more
