I have been to the Ramada and the Radisson now and I found them to be very similar. Due to the price difference I thought the Raddison would be superior but I would definitely rather stay at the Ramada for the following reasons: At the Ramada, every room (that I have been in) has a great ocean view, an actual bath tub, a better pool, and free breakfast. Plus they have more ‚??in house‚?? things to do. Pros: The Radisson has better and more diverse drink and eating options (3 restaurants and a ... Read more

Stayed here for one night on my way back to the USA, and it was amazing. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I ate in the Baymen's Tavern (50th birthday dinner) and the food, drinks, and dessert were all perfect. The room is clean, well appointed, and large. WiFi service was strong throughout the hotel. Take advantage of the free refill station for water bottles and the in-room coffee maker! The hotel is also right by the "BELIZE" sign, which makes for a nice tourist moment.

Stayed twice - to and from Caye Caulker. On the first visit, I initially thought reviews had been harsh, but the only friendly person was the 'Bellboy', and the room seemed fine (4th floor king 'Villa'), until others, apparently engaging in the 'Belizean drawer opening / barbell dropping Marathon' occupied the 'meeting rooms' above and neighbouring rooms. Also found two half smoked cigarettes on our balcony, the pool deckchairs have quite a few months / years worth of bird poo on them, and rec... Read more

The Radisson Hotel Belize is great for business travel and short term leisure. The amenities are great as well as the staff who would make you feel not only at home but as a first class citizen. The people are indeed friendly and readily willing to give you assistance.

The hotel is not a luxury hotel, but it is a great hotel for the price. It is one of the best hotels in Belize City. The lobby sets the tone ‚?? it‚??s nothing fancy, but comfortable and nice with local charm and an informal ambiance. The hotel facilities and rooms are a little worn, but are comfortable and friendly. What sets this hotel apart from even the most luxury hotels is the staff. The staff has a wonderful service attitude, but more important, all the staff - the concierge, the shu... Read more

My boyfriend and I stayed one night at the hotel. Jason was very friendly, welcoming, and hilarious! The food choices and pools at the hotel were good, the staff in general were all very friendly and helpful.

This hotel in Belice City was the most expensive, overpriced tourist trap to which I have fell victim in at least a decade. The room was okay, but not for the exorbitant price. We couldn't get a king size bed in a seemingly empty hotel. The breakfast, at the Petit Cafe downstairs, was the worst food I have force fed myself in years. Please, for the benefit of future guests, destroy this cafe, burn it to ashes, and provide some real food (not soggy, microwaved bread!) for travel-weary customers. ... Read more

Although not the lowest cost for hotels, we felt it was well worth the price if you are not on a minimal budget vacation. All of the onsite facilities were excellent. The food was incredible and the staff was awesome. We stayed for 4 nights before moving to one of the islands. We visited all of the different restaurants and bars - we can‚??t say enough about the service and staff. If yo are looking to go on some excursions, I highly recommend the Rad Expeditions & Tours through the concierg... Read more

We have stayed here 3 times over the years and every time, a great experience. Jason, the bell captain, starts off ones arrival with a warm and upbeat welcome. Eager to please and help travelers, he always make me glad we came back. I really don't know another hotel in Belize City that meets the American expectations so closely. Really, Belize's general approach to hotels is a bit uneven or primitive (and that *is* the way Belize is) and the Radisson Fort George comes closest to meeting a blend ... Read more

We arrived after being in the Rain Forest to find a hardy welcome from Jason who greeted us at the door. The hotel was our last night in Belize so the hot shower, soft bed, and civilization was a welcome stop. My wife took advantage of the spa and got a massage. We grabbed a quick lunch that was delicious and then we took a walk around and shopped for gifts. We returned showered and when to the Stone Grill for dinner and drinks. The only downside to my stay was that the bartender obviously had... Read more
