Having arrived at this hotel to a deserted reception desk. No one arrived for 10 minutes. One someone did arrive I was sent to a room on the second floor. The lifts looked unsafe so decided on the stairs but this are narrow and tricky and dirty. The corridor leading to the room looked like a hostel, dirty, peeling paint and smelly. The room has a smashed balcony glass and glass just lying around. There were holes in the carpet and to say the room was basic is over stating it! I sat on the bed on... Read more

Spend three nights in the hotel. Located near the Midi Bussels train station (20mins in metro and tram), and almost 30mins walking from the old brussels and the Grande place. Small reception, but welcoming stuffs, the hotel was designed in the sixties, but the rooms' decoration didn't change much: salmon colored papier peint and moquettes on the floors. However the rooms are very spacious, with a view ... the bathroom is big, with a double-vasque. It was a clean room. Didn't take the breakfast ... Read more

As many reviews say, the hotel is old and would need some restoration, but we got a very big room, with a huge window with a view on the street and we really enjoyed it. The bathroom was big too and everything was clean. We appreciated the free parking on the street from 8.00 pm until 9 a.m. Breakfast was not included but there is a shop with excellent pastries just next to the hotel. The hotel is 30 minutes away on foot from the historical center and is one of the cheapest in Bruxelles.

I stayed in this pit of a hotel thankfully for just one night. The reception was small but ok. The elevator is unreal. Covered wall to wall in worn stinking wallpaper! If you don't like that then wait till you try the stairs (not advisable). The room is very spacious indeed but the carpet continues to smell really badly. The furniture is very basic The bathroom was worn the toilet full of limescale and stains and to top it the shower didn't work. Toiletries are a joke There is no safety ... Read more

Even though they consider it a 4 star, maybe it was once, but not any longer. Rooms are spacious, some of them on 2 levels, bathroom and a toilet, beds are reasonably comfortable, but all is outdated and needs refurbishment. Carpets are worn out. Breakfast is good, but nothing too stellar. Street view rooms are a bit noisy, as Avenue Louise is a busy street, trams running in front of hotel.

The staff here are very friendly and professional. They let me check in early which is always welcome. The room was clean and quiet with a minibar and a large window looking onto the back lot. To be fair, it was easily one of the cheapest hotels available and so for that reason and the fact that the room did the job I give it 3 /5. For the price, it was perfect for a one night stay. Yes, the room has frayed finishings and it's not somewhere you'd go on a romantic break. But again, great price. A... Read more

I had a two night stay here. The room was extremely tired looking. The sound of next door's TV came through the wall easily. It was hot (30C) and no air conditioning of any kind. I opened my windows but the hotel is on a very busy road with a tram line so it is noisy. The staff are pleasant enough. Especially the guy doing the breakfast room. Speaking of breakfast, they serve it at 7am during the week and 8am on weekends and "holidays". I was here on July 20th and the hotel decided it was a hol... Read more

Where to start?! We arived at this "four star" hotel and could immediately see how run down it looked from the outside. Upon stepping in to reception the smell of stale smoke hits you. We were unsure what the smell was at first but can only presume it is the remnants from days gone by when smoking was allowed and they've never bothered to clean the place after. We got in our carpeted lift and headed to our room (Seriously, wall to ceiling carpets!). The room itself was clean at least but really ... Read more

Bathroom was dirty, serious soap scum on the fixtures. No ventilation without opening a window (right on the street next to traffic and a train). No bar or restaurant, so if you arrive late, you are on your own. Breakfast was just OK, but the coffee was terrible.
