Flew with Virgin Atlantic, best flight ever. Stayed in a garden-view suite 6-16 November 2017 and everything was perfect. We were all inclusive and the food choices were delicious and plentiful. Staff were lovely: from the Management team to the Housekeepers everyone was happy, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. For a total chill out holiday this venue was exactly what we needed. In summary, would highly recommend.

We stayed at the sugar cane as a party of 6 ,3 couples, have to say we had a great time , lovely rooms and great food. The staff were friendly and very welcoming especially Neil at the pool bar, cavil and Mya (sorry if we misspelt your names!!) always happy to help with a smile on their faces. Rodney‚??s Gully walk was great and very interesting, but make you wear trainers as the ground gets quite uneven. The complimentary glass bottom boat tour was very enjoyable and we saw around 5 turtles and... Read more

Well where do I start? We had such a great holiday. The staff are so helpful and polite. Big shout out in particular to Neil, Kenya (cutie pie) and Cavril who entertained my husband with banana cocktail making! The room we had was very spacious. Could've done with a brighter light to put my makeup on but otherwise great. Air con worked well. Hairdryer coped with my hair. There is even an ironing board and iron. Really enjoyed the gully walk with Rodney. You need to wear at least proper sa... Read more

Margaret and I have recently returned from yet another relaxing holiday at The SCC. We were accommodated in a gully room, No113. Peaceful, Quiet and spotless as always. The true stars of this hotel are its staff. They are such a great bunch of people from Michelle in reception to David (the Chef) and Mya in the main restuarant who all go the extra mile to ensure your stay is a memorable one. The food is also good quality and if anything, has improved this year. We are returning next year for my... Read more

If you want a quiet, relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings with helpful, friendly staff, then this is the place for you. The hotel is a few minutes away from beautiful beaches which can be accessed on foot or via the hotel shuttle service. The food is great. The pool is quiet and everything is well maintained and spotlessly clean. The apartments/rooms and beds are very roomy and comfortable. Local music is provided on some evenings and the wonderful manager hired an outside movie for all g... Read more

Stayed here in October and had a wonderful, relaxing holiday. The hotel is a little gem, tucked away in lovely, well kept grounds. It is not a family hotel and the clientele was mostly older couples which, together with the relatively small number of rooms, made for a calm and peaceful environment. Our room (303) was well appointed and nicely laid out, but could do with a bit of a freshening up. The gully walk with Rodney, the head gardener, is a must do; fascinating and very informative. The ho... Read more

This is our second visit to sugar cane following a great break we had last year(see my previous review). Not too many changes have taken place but with the new chef Nicholas in place the quality of the food has gone up even more. Also the second restaurant sandy‚??s chattel gives you an excellent alternative if you don‚??t fancy going to the buffet night. I normally wait until I get home before leaving feedback on trip advisor but after reading the incredible review left yesterday I wanted to pu... Read more

If ..... you are seeking a small hotel where : The clientele are mostly English , sprightly mid lifers + (Over 14 only.) You get woken by cockerels to herald the start of Monkey playtime , and sunrise, which mostly you may be able to view from your room. The , largely, a la carte , delicious, food will challenge even the most ardent dieter. The staff are courteous efficient and friendly . ....oh and you would like to be surrounded by lush gardens and forest , having been brave enough to sacrific... Read more
