I made a last minute reservation for my son today. When he went and asked for the room, he was told they couldn't find his name. I gave him the confirmation number and went back. This time, he was told hotel is booked and they don't accept last minute reservation. My issue is, if you don't accept last minute reservation then IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN CLEARLY STATED ON BOOKING ENGINES AS SUCH!!!! My son had injury and needed a place to stay for few hours badly before he flies back to the US and that wa... Read more

This was the worst "hotel" I have ever stayed in. It lacked basic necessities you would expect from a hotel such as running water, towels, internet and a tv. The door to our room didn't lock. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything going on around you. I was given a room that was under construction. It did not have a sink faucet, the toilet did not work and the shower was under repair. There was construction debris all over the hotel floor and stacks of wood in the room. I sadl... Read more

I made my reservations and read the reviews a week later. Feeling nervous, I wanted to be optimistic, but it was everything promised in the Trip Advisor reviews. It was a bit dirty and very worn down. No water pressure in shower but there was plenty of hot water. The 20 year old lenolium floor tiles are really worn out and dirty. The AC worked fine. The front desk is not rude, just not very warm or welcoming. If you like one of the cheapest rates in Nassau with that rustic mountain cabin feel, y... Read more

We stayed here for one night in between staying at two actual resorts. We were only needing a place for ten hours, so I didn't want to spend too much money, I immediately regretted that decision. The room looked like a thirty year old hostel that hadn't had any housekeeping in weeks. The AC, if you can call it that, was basically non functioning. Oh, but it is right across the street from the water, surely we could've opened the window and gotten some nice breezes from the Caribbean, not so ... Read more

The Coco Plum is a funky little hotel right on W Bay St at Cable Beach. If you are used to US hotel standards, you probably won't like the Coco Plum because they are just hanging on and trying to build up their facility on a shoestring. It's cheap to stay there (relative to other Nassau hotels) but the room AC is pretty ineffectual, the pool was in poor shape, and they had to send their laundry out while I was there because their washing machine was down. The restaurant kitchen is under renov... Read more

Here are my PLUS‚??es and MINUS‚??es, after a short description. The hotel has two names, Landshark Inn and Coco Plum. Maybe a name change ongoing, but I don‚??t know which is the old or the new one. Landshark Inn is on a signboard outside, not Coco Plum. We stayed a week in March 2017, booked on airbnb. The place is an ordinary hotel, not a private home, as said on airbnb. Any Mrs Johnson was never present, she is an agent. The restaurant¬† was under renovation, no service. It's 3 two store... Read more

While you read a lot of negative comments about royal bahamian, that was my the case for my husband or myself. We went July of 2016 and we didn't have any problems. The room was clean, staff was friendly, food was good the wait was sometimes long but that didn't bother us much. There was a lot of people, we didn't use butler service and still got helped as if we would have, it was only my husband and myself there for our wedding and the staff and my wedding planner went above and behind, she... Overall had a wonderful stay. Food was pretty good, although service at the some of the restaurants was slow at times. The island was lovely, although we only got to go a couple of times during our stay due to rough sea / bad weather. The dive centre had quite a few issues while we were there (multiple dives cancelled), which was annoying, but the guides and boat crew were very friendly. I would visit again, but at a warmer time of year.

I have tried many Sandals and I really don't know why I keep trying. I have really not ever had a great experience but this was by far one of the worst. We had a suite in the windsor building. Upon arrival at this resort we were shown to a room where we literally waited for over an hour to be shown to our room. The wrong room which precipitated another hour until they figured it out. It was not a good start. To review the room. It was surface clean in most areas but very dirty in others. I am a... Read more

We recently were married this summer and planned our trip to the Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort. We were so excited, this being the type of trip we have only dreamed of taking. TWO days before we were to leave, we got a very non descript, nonchalant message stating they saw our trip was coming up and if we would please call back to review the plans. Luckily we did. The Royal Bahamian was going to be CLOSED (due to a labor dispute, apparently working for Sandals doesn't pay well), so they had... Read more
