Resort Details

At the Bimini Big Game Club Resort, we haven`t forgotten what makes the island special. It`s spending time with family and friends, sharing stories and making memories. To complement the Club`s special setting, we`ve ensured every opportunity to relax and unwind. From outstanding island cuisine and friendly service, to thirst-quenching poolside drinks, from volleyball on our dockside BBQ beach, to a game of pool with friendly pool-sharks, we`ve tailored the Club to make time with family and friends enjoyable and relaxing.

For the Family

Perched overlooking our marina and the mesmerizing bonefish flats beyond, the Bimini Big Game Bar & Grill offers the best in casual waterfront dining. Grab a stool at the bar, and catch the game on the new big screen TV. With our new bar top decorated with colorful navigational charts, pick a different spot every time, and travel down island through the Bahamas on your bar stool. Always plan on a good time with friends, and entertainment from the bar staff. Enjoy innovative cuisine and the best in friendly Alice Town service. Indoor or outdoor seating? Your choice. The BGBG Fish Sandwich, conch, fresh fish, steaks, pasta, or maybe that Cheeseburger in Paradise? We don`t claim this is where Jimmy Buffet got his cheeseburger inspiration, but we know our Big Game Burger will satisfy the most demanding Parrothead! No gimmicks, no cute name, just a friendly bartender and the best in poolside service. When its time to serve up boat drinks, head to the Pool Bar. Relax around our new bar, watch a ball-game, or grab a table, hoist the market umbrella and enjoy al fresco dining. Its casual all day - after all, it`s a pool patio & bar! Enjoy a plunge into the inviting fresh water pool. Sip on a cocktail and stretch out on a lounge chair with a good book. Sneak off into the adjoining garden and grab a hammock. Who said ``life is but a tire swing``? Tell that bartender - You`re on Island Time! The Complete Angler may be gone, but as the sun goes down, Alice Town and South Bimini come alive. The best in Bimini entertainment is right outside the doors of the Bimini Big Game Club. How about sunset cocktails next door at the famous Anchorage, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Stop by Big John`s for high energy Bahamian calypso and a crowd that goes home when the sun comes up. Hitting the water early the next day and want something more mellow? Try the End of the World Saloon, Sherry`s Beach Bar, or the High Roller. Ferry over to South Bimini and drop in at the Thirsty Turtle or the Sand Bar. In Bimini, its all a short stroll down Kings Highway and be sure of this - there`s something for everyone!

Entertainment & Activities

The gin-clear waters surrounding Bimini have given rise to popular year-round recreational diving. Uniquely situated on the edge of the Continental Shelf, Bimini offers some of the most interesting dive sites in the Bahamas, and is consistently ranked one of the world`s top dive destinations. From a leisurely dolphin encounter to an adrenaline filled shark encounter, from a wall dive to a snorkel along the mysterious ``Altantis Road`` - an ancient, underwater arrangement of stones that has baffled natives, mystics and scientists for generations - Bimini offers something for the diver of every skill level.

I went here specifically to do 3 days of HH diving but due to a few days of severe winds only got in 1 - But it will be a lifetime memory. All the staff from the office to housekeeping to the restaurants were wonderful. The food was delicious and our room was very comfortable but a little dark. However it wasn't just pricey but over the top expensive. In addition to a 7.5% VAT they add automatically an 18.5% gratuity to every meal; no matter size. It was only me and my wife. Lunch for 2 - 18.5%,... Read more

As the title says, the Bimini Big Game Club "resort" is overpriced for what you get but if you are there to dive with hammerheads or to fish, it's really the only game in town that's close to the action. Let me explain what I mean by "tired". Our room had no towel racks or hooks in the bathroom; everything had literally been ripped from the walls. The air-conditioning didnā??t work correctly. Either itā??s off or itā??s on but freezing. You canā??t turn the temperature up. The maintenanc... Read more

I stayed at this hotel with a group of scuba divers. I guess that 25 years of business travel makes me critical of hotels. This hotel was fine, with a splendid location and most staff were very helpful.....though not all. When I asked reception what time I should leave the hotel to get the 6pm ferry to Miami I was told to ring the ferry company. There is one airport and one ferry to get off the airport island, so an hotel should know. Meals were good, but not as good as at the Hilton a few miles... Read more

Bimini Big Game Club is a great place to relax. It is at the southern part of the north island. They have a great marina where they feed the bull sharks every evening. The restaurant is the cleanest and most modern on the island other than the Hilton at the north end. Just like all of Bimini, the people are very friendly. The rooms are great for divers and fisherman, with easy to clean painted cement floors. The beach is a 5 minute walk across the street, or a 2 minute golf cart ride. The be... Read more

This hotel probably would have got a 3*, however when I returned home and checked my credit card statement the hotel had charged me the same transaction on 10 different occasions. I have emailed them to rectify this but they're ignoring my emails. I wish I paid in cash! The marina is nice and the fishermen feed the bull sharks which is cool. In all honesty the only reason we stayed here was to dive with hammerheads, an amazing experience. The staff at reception are unhelpful. This is the only ho... Read more

I understand why Hemingway choose this as his regular haunt and fishing destination. It's exotic. Fragrant. Exciting. Fishing boats are everywhere. Eateries are plentiful but mostly very basic serving Conch salad and Bimini Famous Knockout punch. The resort itself has a fab restaurant, life music and best of all - resident Bull Sharks. Seriously. They are just a step away from the tables and get fed regularly which gathers dozens of guests taking pictures. And they are massive! I'm thinking of... Read more

We stopped by Big Game Resort to check out the restaurant and shops, but ended up getting quite the surprise when we got to watch as the fishermen tossed their scraps from the day's catch and the bull sharks showed up just in time to clean up. The food and service were good, and the beer was cold. I would have to say, though, by far my favorite part was the feeding of the bull sharks.

My wife and I went to bimini to fish. Bimini big game is a friendly safe hotel and marina where you can clean your catch and enjoy dock life with other fisherman. Larry, the GM, is great! So is the dock master! My wife and i felt very safe and were never concerned about the safety of our boat when we were walking around the island. I would strongly suggest staying at bimini big game club if you are going to bimini. Ask for Larry if you have any questions!
