Outstanding location, amazing rooms, superb breakfast, fabulous staff. One of the best all-round hotels it's ever been my pleasure to stay in. Nothing was ever too much trouble and everyone was so kind. Couldn't recommend this more highly.

Well, This hotel can be debatable, Started with, booked it on a same day but different month by mistake and tried to fix it within the same hour or so (1 month in advance and in an off season), but they insisted in charging me more due to a non cancellation policy. This is their right but mistake was honest and didn't want to cancel rather than adjust my mistake in choosing the month and this would've been great in customer satisfaction. Drove there and circled around 7 times to find it. Entra... Read more

Having arrived in Vienna following an amazing river cruise which began in Nuremberg and finished in Vienna we looked forward to a few days stay in Vienna city. Whilst its location to the city attractions is really good, the rest of the offering leaves much to be desired. Our room was spartan to say the least, extremely basic and whilst clean felt like a school dormitory. We had requested a queen size bed and had two singles pushed together with the smallest of single duvets folded at the bottom ... Read more

The location was great in the middle of the city. The room was clean and enough big. BUT the hotel was very noisy. Avoid the rooms facing the street, or you'll need earplugs! On the second night of my stay I couldn't sleep at all because of the noise like music. (I didn't know exactly where it came from but maybe from the street.) I asked the reception to move me to another room. They told me that they were fully booked. But there was a room available on that night on Booking.com. (which was... Read more

This hotel is ideally situated as it is within walking distance of all the local attractions. The staff were very helpful, even prior to our arrival. I contacted them to arrange transport to and from the hotel, which they did, and they also offered to assist with any tickets I wanted to purchase. I wasn't able to get tickets for the mass with the Vienna Boys choir as, at that time, they were not on sale. I asked the hotel if they could purchase them when they came on sale, which they kindly d... Read more

What a wonderful hotel. Very centrally located just steps from the pedestrian mall in the city centre. We splurged for the pick up and drop off service. Was well worth it. Staff at the hotel were wonderful. Will definitely be returning.

My husband and I visited Vienna for the first time this November. Upon check-in we were greeted by the friendliest staff to help us get settled in. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and pretty spacious. We did have a little trouble with the wifi cutting in and out, but it was not a major issue. The location was very ideal- less than 5 minute walk to St. Stephen's. Maybe 5-10 minutes walk to Hofburg Palace. Very close to a metro station as well. Plenty of restaurants and things to see nea... Stayed here several times before, as it was a good deal and close to the center. Last trip, the yelling on the street kept me awake all four nights. Nothing the hotel can do to control that. Take note though, a neighboring restaurant has an outdoor cafe/bar set up right below the windows. The aged mattresses were wallowed out, offering no back support whatsoever. I don't mind the threadbare furnishings, but a good mattress is a must, and no longer the state of things here. Breakfast was good, ... Read more

Stayed here for two nights. The rooms and bathrooms are spotless. The staff are really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was nice. Coffee better than the tea. Centrally located. About five minutes walk to the Opera House. The only downside was the building work taking place outside our room (104) which started very early in the morning. I would stay here again without hesitation.

I recently spent 4 days in Vienna and I couldn't ask for a better hotel than Kaiserin Elisabeth. It is located a short walk from The Graben and St. Stephans Cathedral off of Kartnerstrasse -- the 5th Ave of Vienna. Kaiserin Elisabeth has an understated elegance with comfortable, clean rooms, marble floors and old-world Viennese charm. Best of all, it is very affordable for such a fantastic location.
