You get what you pay for. Showers were clean enough, they do offer towels if you ask, you‚??ll have to bring our own soap. The AC is awesome- most of the rooms are 4 people to a room with the bunk beds fyi. No lovker for your stuff but there is a key to the room. Only one bed has outlets near it so remember that if you don‚??t want to sleep away from your phone. I put my battery on during the day and used it to charge my phone at night Pretty much all the tours pick you up out front so I lov... Read more

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was basic but quite adequate. The rooms are basic but spacious, comfortable and very clean. The reception staff are very helpful. There‚??s a swimming pool, a pub, food outlet, restaurant & kitchen if you prefer to cook your meals. the hotel shuttle buses stop regularly to take you around to other hotels & the market place where there‚??s a supermarket, a couple of souvenir shops, restaurant, coffee shop and tourist office. I highly recommend it.

Not worth the money the rooms are tiny out dated and look as they have never been cleaned proper or they cleaners have done a lazy person clean it was disgusting and the bathroom was filthy dirty, the cleaners are incompetent, and Lazy the all you can eat bar i waited at the desk for 25 mins before walking out and there was 2 customers in there the staff where unprofessional instead of having someone near the desk the, staff where too busy in conversation between themselves to give a damn abo... Go stay with Outback Pioneer to get a true Australian hospitality experience. Ingrid, Miyuki and the reception staff are kind, knowledgable people who share great tips and experiences to be had both at the resort overall and at the attractions of the surrounding area. For prompt dinky di service, even when you have a minor medical emergency, they are caring, fun and are exceptional at handling a vast array of requests. The room 310 was clean and beautifully presented (pristine) with friendly gr... Read more

It feels just like a cash machine ! You have to pay or ask for everything, there is nos service at all. Despite of the resort is part of the Accor hotels we never had such a bad customer experience. The rates are very high but there is absolutely no service! We booked the quad room for 2 nights and we were really disappointed. You will only find the minimum to sleep. There is nothing in the room except the 2 bulk beds. Not even a table or a chair to organize your clothes. You feel like you are i... Read more

If you are looking for a venue that befits the outdoors relaxed feeling of being in the outback of Australia then I highly recommend this place. It may not have all the bells and whistles of other nearby accommodation but herein lies it's charm with a pub like outdoor area, live music, the option of cooking your own BBQ (purchasing the meat from the hotel) and enjoying a cold beer. Mixing and mingling with locals as well as backpackers and other travellers was a lovely aspect of this place. The... Read more

Pretty nice hotel. Very quiet and quaint. Very cold at night plenty to do here or shuttle to another nearby hotel. Go early or make reservations to the restaurant beforehand. Service isn‚??t great but it‚??s the better dining option.

Outback Pioneer is the "cheapo" option (camping aside) at the Ayers Rock Resort. Personally, I don't think those alleged 3.5 stars are justified. The room was spacious and o.k, but had a rather 2* look and feel to it. Staff was friendly and when I requested more towels, they promptly brought them. What I really disliked were the rather grubby common areas such as torn mattresses of the sunbeds by the pool and the poorly maintained pool itself (lots of leaves floating in it). The pub, which is th... Read more

It‚??s not within the village complex of the resort, which we found an advantage, as it‚??s quieter and we could enjoy the desert atmosphere from our room. The rooms are all ground floor with your own little porch, generous, wifi is for 2 devices only but you can buy up. Eating options are so-so-la-la, but good enough for us to stay within the grounds and not walk over to the village.

Don't be put off by the back packer feel of this hotel, we ventured Inside looking for lunch and found the outback café and had the best pizza EVER. The feeling is definitely laid back and casual but the meal was the best pizza I have ever had. It was great just to sit back, chill and relax and watch the world pass us by with a cold beer and an awesome meal.
